Maloneys Grocer

Coffee is great! Salad is ok. We didn’t go inside the store today but we will check it out next time. It looks very nice and has lots of stuffs.

Maloney’s Grocery on Crown Street falls short in terms of product quality and overall value. Several items purchased were either expired or had an unpleasant odour when opened at home, which was disappointing and inconvenient, I had purchased roasted hazelnuts and they smelled really bad (not expired according to the best before date) that I had to threw them off. The prices are also significantly higher than those of comparable grocery stores, without any clear justification. While the store’s ambience may be appealing, it does not compensate for the issues with freshness and pricing. Customers may want to consider these factors before choosing to shop here. NEVER visit if you want to eat fresh food and save your money.

I walked passed this shop and the inside of the store caught my eye. I’ve never seen any grocery shop look so clean and very very organised. I was impressed with how they make the store look. The way they stack up the fruits in the produce section is 👌 they have pretty much everything in a smaller space. Great work you guys are doing

Really convenient and high quality shop. I was buying picnic food for my son and I every day and catching the bus from the stop opposite. The fresh OJ is the best!

We’ve been customers of this Surry Hills grocer since it opened in 2009. It always seem to have what you need, the team are so friendly, and they work hard to keep the shelves full, the produce of a high quality and the product range is incredible.

This place has amazing customer service. I came inside with a strange request yesterday and they were extremely accommodating and friendly. If I ever find myself in Surry Hills looking for a grocer, this place will be my first choice.

In the US, Whole Foods is unaffectedly known as Whole Paycheck because they are so expensive. Maloney’s should also have a moniker. Perhaps be called Al Capone’s - because their prices are criminal!
