Sehion Café isn’t really a full sit-down restaurant in the way you’d normally expect. We opted for takeaway as the space didn’t feel quite set up or polished enough for dining in. That said, Joy Chettan was very friendly and prepared our order with a lot of care, which made a big difference. The service felt genuine and personal. They also sell Kerala snacks and masalas, which is a nice bonus if you’re looking for authentic ingredients. Overall, better suited for takeaway and shopping rather than a dine-in experience.

April 2024 : Did catering for my house warming party and the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to do something for their family gatherings and parties. September 2025 : Purchased a Dinner pack tonight and it was really awesome. This package includes Cutlets, Porotta, Pork Fry, Chicken Roast, Family pack Chicken Biriyani, Wheat Payasam etc. Generous Serves of a mix of Delicious Food. Reasonably priced and well prepared. Recommended for anyone who is looking for traditional Kerala cuisine in a reasonable price, in Melbourne. Keep up your great work, Team.

Extremely disappointing experience. Quality of food was poor and unacceptable. Arrived with the food for half of the requested amount.Ordered the food for 100 people for a family function.This nasty people chose to dish out the items at home ,initially thought it was their hospitality and kindness however realised that it was their attitude to cheat the customers by serving with small portion of food. Declined to serve the enough quantity of food for the teenage boys when they asked to provide more portions. Our kids have experienced the worst catering service which they ever had tasted. Mutton stew had only vegetable cuts. Chicken biriyani served with not even a single piece of chicken after the first half of the dishing. Chicken fry provided with no salad then charged us with $80 when requested by us at the last moment. This salad had few salad tomatoes, carrots and few green leaves only. Joji apologised for his unprofessional customer service and ran away from our premise. Please have your humanity and accountability towards your job atleast to a moderate level. Overall it was a complete waste of money and uncontrolled stress I will never recommend anyone to approach this service .

$24 for 2x chicken biryani. Very delicious and value for money.

I ordered Chicken Biriani for a function. The feedback of the guests in general was that it was very nice. George took the trouble to deliver it to us which was quite far from his restaurant. Thank you.

It's a small restaurant, nearly 6 persons can sit at a time. The business mainly focus on takeaway rather than dine in. You can taste mouth watering Indian foods at reasonable price. I ate porota and beef, the coconut pieces in the beef adds to its taste and porota was fluffy.
