Short St. Kitchen

Short St Kitchen catered a wedding we attended in the Megalong Valley and honestly… wow. Everything was outstanding - perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and bursting with flavour. Hands down the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. Standouts (though choosing is impossible): the zucchini flowers with prawn, prawn & scallop ravioli, the duck (actual drool), potato gratin, barramundi, lamb with smoked labne, and the roasted carrots. Every dish felt thoughtful and high end restaurant-level, not typical ‘catered wedding food’ at all. An unforgettable meal from start to finish - Short St Kitchen set the bar very, very high. Highly recommend.

We had Drew and the team from Short St. Kitchen cater for our wedding in Edith, NSW - Waldara Farm last December 2022. We have been told by many guests that it was the best wedding catering they have ever experienced. We were so delighted to work with Drew and the team! Our overall experience was just fantastic. We also hired RSA staff through him and they all went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly during canapés/cocktail hour and through the night at the reception. The food was incredible, fresh, looked lovely and there was a good amount of food with not too much wastage. I'm a coeliac and they were happy to make the entire wedding gluten free. They catered for all other allergies and dietary requirements great too. Thanks again Drew and team!!!

We had the pleasure of Short St catering our wedding last Saturday night at the Cooks Shed and they were unreal from start to finish. After a rocky start with the venue we were nervous about how the food service would go, we did not need to even waste a thought on worrying. They were exceptional throughout the entire duration. The food was delicious, quality and quantity unreal, but the real stand out was the professionalism, attitude and engagement from all staff involved from the kitchen to the servers. All our guests were commenting on how lovely and kind they were. 10/10 would recommend and will be telling everyone I know to use them for their events!

I work as a wedding dj and sound tech and have worked with many many catering companies, these guys are one of the best. Super friends staff, great service, AMAZING food and just a constant smile on everyones face. For anyone looking for catering whether for a wedding or otherwise these are your crew. Cannot recommend Drew and his team at Short Street Kitchen enough! After recommendations from our venue and doing our own DD, after seeing that Drew offered a Taco Bar as an add on, we couldn’t go past him! And boy, did the taco bar deliver plus more!! We started with the Taco Bar post ceremony (for all our guests who didn’t get time for lunch!), which transitioned to Canape hour. The reception was then a sharing menu for entree and mains, and finally a 10pm cheeseburger slider to finish the night safe to say not one of our guests went home hungry - I had one guest tell me how they were set on going to McDonalds post wedding but couldn’t possibly after the final cheeseburger! So much food that was incredible quality that our guests couldn’t stop raving about. Drew was a truly amazing and friendly caterer, our private tasting session in his kitchen was a highlight in the lead up to the day, as was the food we tasted. A very high quality chef with high quality memorable food! Finally his team was amazing on the day, from saving a cake that was toppling down, to the drinks service, we couldn’t have been more looked after! THANK YOU!! - The Wilsons 08/10/2022

We can't thank Drew and the Short Street Catering team enough for the incredible food and service they provided for our wedding! From restaurant quality food that both tasted authentic and was beautifully served, to the attentive, friendly and well presented wait staff. We were able to create our own individual wedding menu from Drew's extensive canapés, seasonal sharing menu and desserts options, with all our guests dietary requirements easily accommodated. We, and our guests were blown away by the quality and we'd have no hesitation in recommending Short St Catering!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If I could give 100 stars, I honestly would! Short Street Kitchen catered for my mum’s 60th and absolutely nailed it from start to finish. From the very first call, everything was easy — simple to book, stress-free to organise, and they were so friendly and professional the whole way through. The menu was perfect, the food was served piping hot, and the quality was like dining in a top 5-star restaurant. There was more than enough food (we even had leftovers for lunch the next day — and it was just as good!). Every guest was raving about how amazing it all was. Massive thanks to the whole team — you made mum’s night unforgettable. Can’t recommend Short Street Kitchen highly enough! 🙌🔥
