Fabulous burrito! My coffee came out too quickly and ended up cold by the time my food arrived — there could be a better connection there. Gluten free options, vegetarian options available as well. The girl running plates always had a smile and a great attitude, which was lovely! Not all of the staff were as friendly though, which made things feel a little awkward at times. Great place, would definitely go back.

We had high expectations, but unfortunately the breakfast platter for two didn’t live up to them. The pulled chicken wasn’t fresh and was quite dry, the smashed avo was overly oily, and the chorizo was burnt. Portions felt small for a platter meant for two people. The bacon was inconsistent — some pieces were undercooked while others were overcooked — and despite being described as smoky bacon on the menu, there was no smoky flavour at all. The menu description should better reflect what’s actually served. The coffee that came with the platter was okay, however the café kindly changed ours to a cappuccino, which was nice. That said, it was disappointing that the platter only offered one coffee option, with no real choice. Considering the price of $67 and a wait time of over 35 minutes, this ended up being the most disappointing breakfast platter we’ve had. With better execution, more consistent cooking, and improved value, this place could do much better.

Second visit to this Cafe after moving into the area and again it did not dissapoint. The front of house are lovely and warm as is there perfectly made late. Look at that ratio of cream to coffee. My choice of breakfast was the house made chilli sceambled. A great balance of sweet and heat. Highly recommend. I parented mine with their Cypriot haloumi for a salty element I'm very excited to endorse this business, in a world of bad press it's great to still have some positives in life. Is it cheap... no but In my eyes expensive is paying alot of money and not getting what you want in return. At sycamore meadows this is not the case. This cafe uses locally roasted mosaic brand coffee from lavaza and are family friendly with kids welcomed by colouring in and an extensive kids menu that allows varitey. Simply amazing!

Such a hidden gem! I only recently discovered this cafe and I’ve already been back several times. Every order I’ve had has been incredibly fresh and delicious, and their coffee is honestly some of the best in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to realise they’re connected to their other cafe, The Spade in Glenroy, which I’ve also loved without knowing the link! The staff at both locations are consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.

Nice cafe with a decent atmosphere, but the young girl at the register(first impression) was a little blasé, not rude, just disinterested. The other girl that served us at the table was lovely, so service was a bit 50/50. The iced lattes were very nice but my Açaí bowl was far too small for $22(plus a 10% weekend surcharge, which IMO is a cheek…Sunday fine, but not "weekend"). The açaí itself was very icy and crystalised and still frozen in chunks….it was obviously pre blended as a large batch then in and out of the freezer a few times. Seasonal "berries" was at most half a strawberry sliced paper thin to give 5 slices, but the granola was delicious, as was the coconut yogurt. This bowl should be $15 at most, or double everything for $22, and blend the açaí fresh. Nice place and decent food otherwise, but wanted to give some honest feedback.

I just had breakfast here with my partner, and everything was on point. We order pulled pork burrito and Acai bowl, both spot on full of flavour. The first time here, and the place is big, and the staff is very helpful and excellent service, prices and variety of the menu is good value as well. Well done, guys. We definitely come back

Went here today for the first time for brunch. Had the Melrose Av. and my partner had pancakes. It was the best poached eggs/avo dish I have had in a very long time! Everything on the menu looked delicious, we will definitely be coming back!! 😋
