The Other Chef Makers & Providores

Absolutely fantastic little artisan jam, sauce and other condiment maker. We visited whilst holidaying in Port Macquarie and were impressed with the variety of delicious sauces, relishes, jams etc. Purchased a lovely gift box for my mum and lots of other yummies for ourselves. We can’t wait to put together a gourmet platter with some delicious cheeses, these relishes and wines purchased from a local winery. When we were leaving we noticed boxes of tomatoes from Ricardoes which is another great local business we visited during our holiday. We found products from here at Ricardoes and the winery we visited. It’s so nice seeing small local businesses supporting each other. I just know we will be ordering more of these yummies when we run out. Knowing we can order online and have them delivered to QLD was fantastic. The lady who served us was so lovely and helpful also. We were offered tastes of anything we wanted which was great. If you wanted to expand on the business, small tasting plates with a nice glass of wine would be perfect 😉

Ducked in this morning before heading home, great staff, great customer service and even better products. I'll definitely be back for some more goods over Christmas. Absolutely delicious

Last week whilst driving down the coast from QLD, I stumbled across The Other Chef’s factory and shop front in Lake Cathie. I can honestly tell you, their Strawberry Jam is the best I have ever had in my life, along with their quince paste and caramelized balsamic vinegar. Omg.. seriously AMAZING! The actual owners, Monica and Eric were so incredibly lovely to my Daughter and I, and even took the time to show us the factory and tell us about the business. This is a true family owned business that not only uses the best quality ingredients in their products, but the way they also support the local community is to be commended. I can not recommend this business enough !

Called in here today for the first time, warmly greeted and goods explained. Great shop outlet and the products are well displayed. Can't wait to try the black truffle mustard, jam, vinegar and dressings we purchased. Plenty of parking, a place to make sure you visit.

When we visited Port Macquarie earlier this year we went to Ricardoes and purchased "The other Chef" Truffled Black Garlic Mustard, it was sensational and today we went to the factory on our way home to Newcastle and got another 4 jars plus some other goodies we wish we had someone here to stock this

This a great place to buy locally made jams, pickles, sauces, soups etc by a well renowned chef. Love the products and have bought them for the last 18 years.

Wonderful service and a beautiful range of delicious goodies. A must do when visiting Port Macquarie!
