Cauldron Brewing

Love this little brewery. Special place for Hervey Bay. Hubby loves the beers and I enjoy the cider and alcoholic ginger beer and sars varieties. 🍻🍸 While the usual menu has all the traditional pub food, it’s above the average for pub food dishes. Well balanced and fresh. Our absolute favourite tho is the ‘Specials’ - like a limited edition dish that changes every week or so. Talented chef.., amazingly delicious food. My photo doesn’t do this latest dish justice.

Went for lunch today and hubby had a sample taster of the beers. He loved the best British bitter. Foodwise, fish and chips, was the best hubby has had in a long time. Perfection he said. My Crunchy Chicken burger was just as it said. delicious 😋 Other family members thoroughly enjoyed their lunch items too. Well done, will definitely be back.

Dinner last night for a birthday. Food was fantastic, fish cooked to perfection, very tasty nachos and fried chicken burger. Kids loved playing all the board games and hubby loved the variety and quality of beer styles. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great night!

Great selection of beers on rotation as well as the staples, good food and super friendly passionate staff, plus the warm inner glow you get from supporting a small local business. (BTW it's not just beer, if you have a sweet tooth like myself, the sars is fantastic).

Interesting niche local brewery. They brew a range of craft beers on site. Accompanying food options are decent. The beef sliders are pretty tasty and goes well with a side of chicken wings and fries. The also do a rotating menu depending on on the day. I tried the croquets which were pretty good. Overall the food options are basically sides to accompany the beers. If you are primarily after food options, alternate venues may be better choices for volume and variety.

I wanted to try local beers, as I always do it when travelling. I went to Cauldron and I was amazingly served by them. They explained me a lot and gave me tastes to decide which one I’d like. They had a huge variety of beers, also brewed special ones for the Oktoberfest. This is a local brewery and their beer can’t be found anywhere else (sad and ashamed)! Owner also gave me lots of tips on Brissie brewery to visit. Food was delicious! They had a special menu also for the Oktoberfest. I had the sweet potato croquettes and was perfectly happy with that. The taste was incredible! Customers are super friendly, as they invited me to be part of their group, as I was travelling by my own. I can’t recommend better!
