Beautifully presented area to wonder around or just sit and watch the world go by. Some of the old builders are just stunning and great to see they have been preserved and celebrated. Not just torn down for progress.
An oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of urban city life, this park is good for Nike rides, nature walks, picnics and admiring the fountain ⛲ and its lovely water features. Close to Museum and St James stations, local swimming pool + a stones-throw from the War Memorial (also well worth a visit) , buses, cafes and shops. Recommend.
A place with lot of pigeons, building blocks for kids and chess for adults. A fountain that relaxes one's mood. A great place to hang out during summer evenings. There will be many events taking place here . Friday markets will be set up on every Friday.one can enjoy capcuinno from near by Cafes and enjoy fresh breeze with lovely weather. Kids love the water fountain.

Parramatta Council holds some great events at Centenary Square. Usually they have an event for each public holiday, as well as a range of special celebrations for cultural events like Diwali, Luna New Year, Reconciliation Day etc. During a regular week they have food trucks and coffee stalls here, or you can play giant chess and ping pong. Great public venue.
Beautiful square and park location nearby Parramatta station. Seating places and public toilets available. There is a watch tower. Good place to spend some time in the evening.
Good public open space area. I went whilst there was Lunar New Year celebrations. Short walk to church St restaurants and Westfield shopping Centre.
