Sublime Cafe & Caterers North Melbourne

It took me several days to get around to eating in a cafe solo what with this being my first time in Australia and Sublime was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and helpful and the coffee and veggie roll hit the spot. Loved the atmosphere too.

I recently visited Sublime Café on Errol Street in North Melbourne and had a really lovely experience. Even though they were close to closing time, the team welcomed us warmly and served us with outstanding professionalism. There was no rush, no pressure — just genuinely attentive and kind service, which I truly appreciated. The brownie was absolutely delicious — rich, moist, and indulgent. The small flat white was beautifully made, smooth and well-balanced. The hot chocolate was astonishingly tasty — comforting, creamy, and full of flavour. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their drinks and desserts. One important note: the café is unfortunately not very vision-impaired or disability friendly in terms of layout and accessibility, which may make navigation challenging for some patrons. That said, the staff service was excellent and made the overall experience very positive. I would happily return again for the quality coffee and warm hospitality.

They used to be excellent but quality has declined sharply over recent months. Was unwell after last Sri Lankan Curry which had something weird in it. Won't be going back. Update for owner: Attached label photos taken next day. Retrieved discarded content from waste bin and froze. Purchased at Errol Street. Luckily didn't consume it, bad enough to just bite into. For years have regularly bought these frozen meals. If 'nothing has changed' at your end then I recommend checking suppliers because my experience is that quality has been on a marked decline for the last few months.

I’ve had the soup and bread here, a couple of the salads and the matcha smoothie, bliss ball(s) and the carrot cake. All is very good - I especially like the pasta salad I had with the pesto, garlic, and peas. I’m yet to try the take-home frozen meals - they look like a good idea. Staff are friendly too. I disagree with some of the reviewers that the servings are small - it’s nutrient dense and a good portion too. Just a different food concept is all. Good location at start of Errol St.

Food at Sublime is healthy, interesting and delish! Highly recommend everything. It’s often a huge decision between the soup or the hot meal.

Delicious fresh salad , super yummy bread rolls and variety of meal box for easy prepared dinner ! Highly recommend my favorite green chicken Curry and broccoli slaw salad! They are fantastic!!

GOOD QUALITY FOOD ON BUSY ERROL STREET Sublime is a fairly recent arrival to the Errol Street strip and adds a good quality option to your dining choices. Healthy and light - focaccia is highly recommended. Parking is very tight on Errol Street but there is usually space in the meter parking strip on the other side of Errol St (parallel to Victoria St)
