Chargrill Charlie's Mosman

I bought a potato bake and pad Thai from this store on my way to Taronga Zoo on 6 October 2025. When I opened the potato bake to eat, I found a large fly embedded inside the food. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety practices. I have reported the matter to the NSW Food Authority for investigation. I expect the business to take responsibility contact me and issue a full refund. Please check your food handling process to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

The food was very budget friendly and tasted fresh, with a great selection of chicken dishes and sides. We came across this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Everything felt fresh and reasonably healthy, which made it a great casual meal option. Our only suggestions for improvement would be a better seating arrangement, as there are only two tables and the setup is mainly geared toward takeaway. It would also be helpful to have toilet facilities available for dine-in customers. Other than that, it was a positive experience and we would happily return.

Rolled in starving after wandering around like a lost tourist at Bondi. My mate said "trust me," and honestly … best decision. Service was fast like Max Verstappen — food came out quicker than you can say "bro there’s NO parking in Northern Sydney." I got the chicken schnitz sandwich…. mate, it’s elite. Easily some of the best chook on the entire North Shore. Juicy, crispy, like it got sent down from the Charcoal Chicken Charlie angels. And the fries slapped harder than those sneaky Macca’s fries you inhale on the way home from town at 2am. And the value? Outrageous. $20 got me a drink, fries, and the biggest schnitz sandwich; it needs its own postcode. Charcoal Chicken Charlie’s — absolute weapon of a store. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Chargrill Charlie’s is a local fast food favourite in Sydney, and I’m so glad there’s one in Mosman! I ordered the fries, which came in a huge and generous portion. They were crispy and loaded with chicken salt, making them super flavourful and mouth-watering. Next time, I’ll definitely be back to try some of the more substantial options like their chicken and burgers.

The staff at Chargrill Charlies are rude, incompetent and arrogent staff that we have encountered at any Chargrill Charlies or other stores in Mosman. They overcharged me for my order and got my order wrong. When we asked for the missing items the attitude of one of the female and male staff member that intervened was atrocious. Customer Service should be the main objective in all businesses. We have multiple sites in the area and I will make it a point to advise all of our crew and subcontractors to go to Prego at the Beach instead.

Very busy shop huge selection of food chicken burgers. burgers salads .not overpriced .the combo meal chips and massive. They now ave a poke salad for when your feeling like a healthy choice. So hard to go past the hot Chip's. Lunch is really busy go early or later to beat the crowds if possible

Stale cold fries, a burger with the ingredient i asked not be included (because Im allergic to it) & a disproportionately long wait for the privilege. This once-great location now leaves a lot to be desired.
