Ming Dynasty Restaurant

A relaxed Sunday afternoon, we visited this Chinese restaurant. Though the dining area was only half full, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the spacious layout, gleaming clean surfaces, and bright lighting that made the place feel vibrant and airy. Our experience began on a positive note with the attentive and friendly waitress who made us feel immediately welcome. We opted for two dishes: the Fried Squid with Veggies and the Fried Duck with Lemon Sauce. The fried squid, though a standard choice on many Chinese menus, was perfectly cooked. The highlight of the meal was the Fried Duck with Lemon Sauce. The dish was a pleasant surprise, offering something different from the usual fare. The duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a tangy yet subtle lemon sauce that didn’t overpower the natural richness of the meat. As a nice touch, the restaurant also provided complimentary prawn crackers, adding a light, crunchy start to the meal. While the fried squid didn’t do much to distinguish itself, the Fried Duck with Lemon Sauce made a memorable impression. With generous portions and friendly service, Ming Dynasty proves to be a solid choice for a casual Chinese dining experience.

I ordered King Prawns with vegetables and rice. While they prawns were $22.50, I ended up paying $31. Expensive rice. The taste was alright, while the rice and veggies were warm enough, the prawns were cold. Would not recommend.

Yes yes yes. Fabulous place with excellent friendly service. They have different prices for take away or eat in. So I prefer takeaway as the food is packaged so well and it’s very fresh and hot to eat when you get home. Their fried rice is the best fried rice I have ever had and I could eat it daily. I get a large Fried rice for $12 and it’s a great meal just on its own, with left over for the next day. Their sweet and sour fried chicken is amazing but the sauce could use a bit more vinegar to make it more tangy. Xoxo

5 stars for the value-for-money portions of tasty food (even though not 100% authentic for my Asian tastebuds), everything hits full points. Check out my pic of the huge portion of $15.50 lunch combo Fried Rice with Salt and Pepper Battered Pork Fillet. Fried rice was bland-ish but totally made up for by the delish pork! Also had the garlic beef with meegoreng noodle combo it was tastyyyy! At $15.50 for these portions of yum you really can't go wrong. Takeaway lunch is only $14.50.

They gave the prawn crackers for free even before we ordered the food! Great service! Great dishes with reasonable price! Very comfortable and clean settings! Will come back for Chinese food when we go to Morley!

Out of all the takeaway places that in Morley, when a member of my family brings home takeaway food, I can immediately taste it’s from Ming Dynasty.. Unmistakably higher quality food than than the usual cheaper food outlet.. Thanks to everyone there.,,
