My Carvery

📍 Caterers in Morayfield

1.2

My Carvery in Morayfield, categorized under Caterers, offers a standard food court dining experience with a focus on roast meats. While the quality of the meals can be appealing, there are notable inconsistencies in the value for money across different menu items. The preparation and presentation of vegetables and meats are generally well-regarded.

The service at My Carvery is often praised for its efficiency and politeness; however, there have been instances of rude staff interactions that have significantly impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the pricing structure, particularly for add-ons like sauces and water, has been a point of contention, with some items being perceived as overly expensive. The hygiene and food safety aspects are generally considered satisfactory. Further improvements in customer service, and pricing transparency could enhance the overall dining experience.

Pretty standard carvery type place in a food court. But had to make a point that the crackle is that dry fatless type. So its more like a bad cheechoroni. And they charge 50cents for probably 10ml of tomato sauce. Disgraceful.

Ordered a Roast Pork Sandwich. Heaps of meat, a nice gravy and apple sauce. Bread nice and fresh, polite staff, quick service. Really good feed. Keep up the good work guys. 👏

Not the best breakfast for the price. Also can’t get over how you charge $15.90 for lamb sandwich. I can buy a full lamb from Woolworths for that. Why are you so expensive? Your overheads can’t be that dear? Good luck.

The food is very tasty and nutritious. The vegetables and meat are well-prepared, look appealing, and are hygienic. This is a great choice for a quick and convenient meal. Will definitely come back !

I’ve been a loyal customer of the North Lakes carvery for many years with no issues. However, after visiting the Morayfield carvery this morning, I won’t be returning to either location. I ordered a roast beef roll and was charged $15.80 for a small round roll with just three very thin slices of roast beef—an absolute rip-off. When I mentioned to the older lady with blonde hair (who I assumed was the owner or manager) that I usually get a roast beef sandwich with potato bake for less than I paid for this roll at North Lakes, she responded rudely and argued that my carvery doesn't even serve roast beef sandwiches, despite the fact that I’ve had one there before. I’m beyond frustrated with the terrible value for money, and even more irritated by the rude staff member, which just shows how poor the owner’s judgement is in hiring them. I would have given a zero, but unfortunately that is not an option.

What a rip-off place this is. I asked for Roast beef and gravy sandwich as a combo with drink and chips. And added, I'll have water thanks. She said thats $1 upgrade for water. Yet there is only 40c difference between the two items in the fridge. How is natural water more expensive than a chemical filled highly processed substance.
