The food was delicious. First time in this lovely restaurant. The homemade three dips are a must for entries. We share the meat plate with lemon and herb potatoes, more than enough food for two ( the potatoes will surprise you, believe me)

Simply the Best Greek restaurant in Melbourne! We had a truly fantastic dining experience at Philhellen Provincial Greek Cuisine Restaurant in Moonee Ponds. Beyond the superb food, the restaurant has a wonderfully inviting and great atmosphere a truly great vibe that makes you feel welcome. It’s also very family-friendly and have a comfortable large seating . We tried several traditional dishes and everything was delicious. For starters, the Fava dip was creamy, simple, and perfectly drizzled with olive oil, a classic done right. The absolute standout appetizer was the Kalitsounia, these Cretan homemade pastry parcels with mizithra cheese and mint filling were phenomenal; they were light, flaky, and bursting with fresh flavour! This is my first time trying it and i will be back for more ♥️ For our mains, the Char-Grilled Stuffed Calamari with rocket salad on the specials board was tender and cooked flawlessly. We also ordered the Mixed Souvlaki (char-grilled marinated chicken and lamb skewers) and traditional dips like the Tarama, along with the sweet and savory Feta Filo wrapped in phyllo and honey.

Thank you Anna and Paul for making my night so memorable for my birthday. You were both amazing with organising seating arrangements to accommodate a DJ and dancing space. Spectacular food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mary Deris

If you are looking for amazing traditional Greek food then you've found it at phihellenes! A lovely Greek restaurant with lots of character, the staff are very friendly and very attentive. The food is always good, mouth watering slow cooked lamb on the meat platter is my favourite along with the saganaki !! Great for a group catchup or just dinner for two. They even do xmas day !! I have been many times and can highly recommend pholhellenes.

This was our first experience at this restaurant, and we will definitely come back in the near future. The staff are very friendly and the design is spectacular. Moreover, there are various authentic Greek options and drinks, more than a typical Greek restaurant in Melbourne, and all the food options taste absolutely amazing. Highly recommended

We have been here a few times. I had my daughters 21st dinner in function room a few years ago. More recently we had ad dinner for my dads birthday and had the banquet. Beautiful food and enough portions. Service is friendly and nice atmosphere. It was a little cold even though there is the fireplace but was still comfortable. We really enjoy our Greek food here outside of Oakleigh options. The slow cooked lamb and lemon potatoes are delicious. Classic and consistent food and service 🙏❤

In all the years I am living in Melbourne I think it is the very first time that I liked the food in a restaurant so much. All plates were amazing, well-prepared, generous sized portions, and authentic to Greek style and taste. Stuff was polite and friendly and the atmosphere was also great. Would recommend very warmly. Looking forward to visiting again. Their prices are also fantastic.
