OOSHMAN Maroubra

I usually order on ubereats and I live how the food is always fresh, tasty, packed well and arrives safely. Being disabled, there's been a few times I've asked them to cut something a particular way and they are always happy to oblige which makes it do much easier for me. Tonight I had their garlic dipping plate, tabouli and rocket salad. All was delicious.

Extremely Upset. I was at the store at 11:00pm and the lady refused to make any pizza or wraps and said that since they're closing soon they can only serve chicken and starters. The store was closing at 11:30. Meanwhile, while I was having their chips, I saw an online order for a pizza and they made it right away.. Really upset by this attitude by staff. I know it takes some effort to make pizza and wrap but if you can't serve your main items, just close the store early. ----------------------------------------------------- RESPONSE TO THE REPLY Hi Kaiwan, Thank you for your damaging review. Your order was placed at 11:20pm upon checking. If you can please remove your review as it brings our rating down. Thanks I still do not understand how is that a damaging review. I am being completely honest how I felt. Your restaurant is there to serve people. If I want to order something before the closing time (11:30pm), I deserve to get that item if it is in stock. If the staff doesn't want to make the order because it is an effort for them, i am sorry then it is a 1 star for the service. I wouldn't have had a problem if the same rules applied for Ubereats and Menulog orders, but they prepared the pizza after I was refused one which is quite unfair.

I’ve been coming to Ooshman in Maroubra for a while now and I genuinely love the staff here. They’re always friendly, they work so hard and the food is amazing every single time. The only reason I gave 1 star for management and 5 stars for the staff is because it’s really obvious they’re constantly understaffed. After working in hospitality for over 10 years, I know what it looks like when a team is stretched thin and it honestly breaks my heart. These guys are incredible, but they’re being run off their feet. Every time I come in it’s busy, and they still do their absolute best with a smile. I hope whoever manages this store can give them the support they deserve because the team here is gold. A few more staff would make such a difference.

Great variety on the wrap menu - lots of different ingredient combos including some with chips and you can switch to sesame bread which adds an extra element of flavour. You get to pick your protein. Got the Fully Tabouli ($17.50) with hot pepper chicken - was expecting grilled chicken but it was spicy battered popcorn chicken bites. Very tasty with the garlic toum, the chips and tabouli! The bread has a good thickness and flavour. Also got the Hommus Cracker ($17.50) - picked lamb kafta which was soft and tender and went well with the hummus, lettuce, tomato and pickled cucumbers. The sesame bread was great.

I went to redeem my 35% off dine out voucher from the Uber Eats app only to be told by staff that the owner has mandated a minimum spend of $50. This has not been stated in the terms and conditions. Very misleading promotion on Uber Eats. The postive is that the food was very delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the newly opened pizza shop and wraps, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The pizza crust was perfectly crisp, toppings were fresh, and the flavor combinations were exceptional. The wraps were equally impressive, with a variety of fillings that cater to different tastes. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff's friendliness added to the overall positive experience. This place is a must-visit for pizza and wrap enthusiasts – a delightful addition to the local dining scene

The food might be good, but I ended up paying for a full meal twice because the cashier assumed I wanted a sandwich and a Coke without fries. A sandwich and Coke are cheaper than a full meal, so that wasn’t fair at all! She even seemed happy that I didn’t argue further. Never going back to this place again—worst service ever!
