Pattison's Patisserie

A pleasant place to stop for a coffee break or light snack. Their avocado toast was a simple but adequate dish consisting of two well toasted baguette slices with a small bowl of mashed avocado on the side. The raspberry friand was rich with a strong buttery taste and texture.

Enjoyed the dessert and drinks, both were great! The service was friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back next time in the area.

Lovely cafe, restaurant at level 1 of Westfield Hornsby. Nice decor, heaps of comfy seating, friendly service, variety of food offerings. Reasonable prices and prompt service. It's near the Woolworths store, hence ideal place for a food break after your grocery shopping. Car parking available, free for 3 hours at Westfield Hornsby.

Desserts and hot drinks are always very tasty and almost all of the staff are friendly and helpful. But I think they’re charging too much for Babychino’s - $3.50 for a bit of frothed milk is a bit steep. Once I just asked if I could have a bit of extra milk for my tea. They said yes but then double backed and asked if the milk was for my toddler, I said yes. Then suddenly it was $5! For a dash of milk! When we bring our own babychino cup they only half fill it as well, I guess they think it’s too big. But when you’re spending $30-40 on other food and drinks I think some frothed milk shouldn’t be so much extra. A lot of places have free or $1 babychino’s with adult drink purchases.

Absolutely terrible service. Waiting over 20 minutes for just two coffees is completely unacceptable. Staff were slow, unorganised, and clearly uninterested. When we asked a simple question about whether one of the takeaway coffees was being put into a glass instead of a takeaway cup, the worker literally just shrugged her shoulders and couldn’t give an answer, no communication, no effort, no professionalism. To make it worse, when we finally got the coffees, one of the lids wasn’t even put on properly and the coffee spilled all over me. No apology, no care. Overall a frustrating and messy experience. Would not recommend at all.

Bought the sixteen inch chocolate mud cake. Big thanks to the staff for helping us take the cake to the car. We thought a Cole’s trolley would be big enough but it wasn’t! It looks great and we can’t wait to try it.

I had a really bad experience with the morning glory muffin. It looked unusually white compared to what I’ve had before, almost like it was from an old batch. The texture and taste were off, and not long after eating it, I felt sick. Definitely disappointed this muffin didn’t seem fresh or safe to eat.
