The hype for this place is real. The chicken nuggets are hot, crunchy, and juicy, simple but done really well, with a crisp coating that hits the spot. What made the experience even better was the friendliness of the staff. I loved the fun novelty of guessing the price and was lucky enough to get it right, which scored me a free nugget. Great service, great snacks, and an easy go to when you’re after something quick and satisfying. I’d happily return.

4.5/5 Tried the chicken nugget from Glenferrie Gourmet Meats and was genuinely impressed. Super simple — but juicy on the inside with a crispy coating that felt like a really good schnitzel. Not claiming it’s the best thing ever, but it hits the spot. Cost me $6.75 for 2 pieces, and there’s even a fun twist — if you guess the price right, you get it free (which I unfortunately didn’t 😅). What stood out just as much was the enthusiastic service. The young guy behind the counter really loved what he was selling and it showed — always good to see people proud of their work. Definitely coming back to try more.

The chicken nuggets here are absolutely delicious, both hot or chilled. Mouth watering! Also fantastic service every time. To read poor reviews of the service here is kinda unbelievable..Fair to say some customers have a stick up their backsides. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic local butcher. The ready to eat hot chicken nuggets are delicious and perfect for a quick meal with fresh salads from the connected providore. They are more like schnitzels in size though and approx $3.50 each.

After some vegan activists tried to stir things up at the butcher shop over the weekend, the staff handled it like absolute pros. They stayed calm, kept things respectful, and even handed out free nuggets brilliant move! The butcher took the moment in stride and turned it into a perfect bit of promotion for their delicious chicken nuggets and other quality meats by jumping right into the livestream. In the end, the whole scene just showed how strong and clever small local businesses can be when faced with nonsense. Well played.

I have been shopping at Glenferrie Gourmet Meats for 30 years and the produce and wonderful staff is an institution and a credit to all who own, manage and work there. The new addition is very smart and offers really healthy home made meals and quality deli products. I have sometimes ordered specific meats which have been brought in with ease and good timing. Coming from the UK I particularly love the best Australian humour from all the staff who come across as a family working together. Going here always brightens up my day.

Have shopped here for years, but quality has really dropped. Bought 3 porterhouse steaks on Sunday and they smelled off the next day (bin). I'll only get the chicken nuggets now — not sure how long everything else has been sitting there. I’ve started going to Coles across the road instead for meats.
