Comida Hahndorf

¡Que buena comida! A Spanish restaurant in a little German town? Yes and it was worthy the visit. It may not be completely traditional as every plate had a twist but the results were delicious. We had the croquettes, paella and chicken. Everything was yummy and good portions. Do yourself a favour and go to Comida instead any of the pubs around to enjoy great food that is not available everywhere.

We had our wedding at Comida in Hahndorf and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The garden atmosphere created such a lovely, romantic setting for our special day. The staff were absolutely fantastic - incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The Spanish-themed menu was a huge hit with our guests. The food was epic, and the drinks selection perfectly complemented the cuisine. Everyone raved about the meal! If you're looking for a wedding venue with character, delicious food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day special, I can't recommend Comida highly enough. 10/10!

My partner and I visited on a sunny spring day and tried the Fiesta Menu. The vibe and interiors were great, and the staff were genuinely lovely. The starters were promising, but the mains lacked flavour and came with a bitter salad. Dessert also felt a bit underwhelming with only two churros, it came across as an afterthought. A strong start, but it didn’t quite follow through in the end.

A magical wedding venue, tucked off of the main street of Hahndorf. I performed a wedding here in September 2025, and it was a beautiful and magical afternoon, under the willow tree on the amazing grounds. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and the food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend this as a wedding venue and look forward to performing future wedding ceremonies at this hidden Hahndorf hotspot!

What an absolutely lovely restaurant. We had the most delicious Spanish style meal, the service was wonderful, Matt was so attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed the live entertainment!! Will definitely be back!

We were quite excited having found a Spanish restaurant in Hahndorf. We did not make a reservation but we were offered a table towards the end of the restaurant, at first we were quite happy there, however we soon realized that we had made a mistake. 3 young ladies at an adjacent table made so much noise from beginning to the end of our dinner with very loud voices and laughter. One could not hear the music imagine our own voices. We wondered why no one from the service noticed that and or spoke to them. Anyway we had the most bizarre paella ever. I have eaten paella in Majorca and in many fine Spanish restaurants. I do cook paella myself and I have never seen something like that (see attached pics). It looked more like a fried rice to me. The service was also not very attentive and professional. We had to ask for attention a couple of times. Conclusion it was a very disappointing experience.

Such an amazing place to enjoy breakfast! Food, juice, service and atmosphere were amazing! Would highly recommend
