Glenroy Bakehouse

I have been going to Glenroy Bakehouse for years. They make the best desserts such as cakes, custard tarts, vanilla slice, cream buns. I would highly recommend everyone to try their desserts.

I’ve been going to this shop for the last 4 months nearly every single day. I’ve tried every type of banh mi and they are all awesome! I’ve been to Vietnam and tried so many Banh MI’s and these are the best in Melbourne that I’ve tasted and I’ve been to lots of different places here in Melbourne! Other shops try to be too fancy or overpack the roll with too much meat, this place has the traditional balance that leaves you feeling satisfied and content, and it doesn’t sit heavy in your stomach afterwards. The ladies are kind and one of them always takes the time to help me learn and understand Vietnamese phrases. 💜 Crispy Pork is my favourite, but on a warm day, the chilli beef or Pork Ham is divine. Very good banhmi, i always order the chilli beef and my husband always have the grill chicken one. The bread roll is crunchy outside yet soft inside, big amount of meet and vegy they put inside the banhmi. I also love their croissant and cheese stick. They sell fresh bread everyday. Price is very reasonable. The service was great and the lady who seems to be the owner is very friendly.

I ordered the chilli beef roll. Too much ingredients. Not nice to eat and way too much carrot. Should of just got a donut or a chicken lettuce sandwich. $12 w a coke.

Fantastic spot for authentic Vietnamese food! Bahn Minh Bun is a hidden gem. The flavors are fresh, bold, and super satisfying. I ordered the crispy bánh mì — was absolutely delicious. The bánh mì had a crispy baguette and a great balance of meat, pickled veggies, and pate. The staff were friendly and quick, and the space is clean and inviting. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend if you're craving a real taste of Vietnam!
