Magnolia Cafe

I was tidying up photos from years ago and realised I never left a review for my favourite place in Dubbo… I lived in Dubbo for a few weeks when I was still a student and went here every single weekend because it was that good. I still remember I was surprised that the owner recognised me just on my second visit haha! The pear & caramel tart especially… there’s just something about it that’s so special (I hope they still sell it!). I still think about it even now and wish I had the recipe to make it myself at home 🤤Magnolia Cafe just has a special place in my heart!

We were seated exactly where we wished to be on a warm summers day. The menu was broad and hard to make a choice but I must say my meal was absolutely delicious. It’s not the first time I’ve been here and also not the first time of course that the food was divine I highly recommend you, your friends and family explore this lovely little cafe! You definitely will be surprised that’s for sure. Thank you to the team at Magnolia Cafe. Always a pleasure to eat and entertain there. In a word ‘yum!’

I recently had an amazing experience at Magnolia Cafe! super friendly and attentive staff . The food and coffee were delicious, and the scones were incredibly fresh, just perfect! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal. Five stars!

Got a recommendation from a friend to visit this lovely cafe whilst in town. The customer service, food, coffee and atmosphere are second to none. It was extremely busy whilst we where there mid morning today, unfortunately they had a power outage (which was obviously out of their control) and the staff did their very best to keep everyone happy and orders flowing. We ordered a lovely toasted sandwich and pancakes along with the best coffee I have had in a long time. We will be recommending this cafe to our fellow travellers. Beautiful food and very attentive staff. Servings were not huge, but that's actually a good thing. I left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. Warm and cozy on a winter's day and a great place to dine alfresco in the warmer months. The nursery is lovely as is the little shop with all the cute garden decorations, pots and home decor. A nice little oasis in Dubbo. They also offered my guide dog a drink of water, this was much appreciated.

Disgusting customer service. Initially power issues, we strolled the nursery which was lovely with lovely staff. Came back to order when power was fixed and the wait time was not only long but a staff member came in, ordered her coffee and got her coffee straight away. Our order was wrong, ordered 2 coffees and had to ask for the second one. I made a comment of 'if I worked here I probably would have got my coffee sooner' and was met with absolute rudeness from the barista who blamed the power outage which had nothing to do with the fact she placed a staff member before customers who had been waiting some time. Received the second coffee which was less than warm. Had to ask for the croissants I ordered as they were forgotten also. Unfortunate that I had heard so many nice reviews only to be met with a rude, non apologetic barista. The staff member that got her coffee before us also knew it was wrong and attempted to hide the coffee that was slid across the counter to her. The food preparation also witnessed was disgusting, no hand washing, slices taken out by hand after handling the counter! Handfuls of spinach taken from fridge! Will never return.

I went out for breaky this morning and had the most amazing breakfast. It was incredible! I will totally be back again! Lovely staff and service and atmosphere aswell.
