Bluegum Dubbo by Travellers

This is my favourite motel in Dubbo. I travel there frequently for work. The rooms are in excellent condition. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. I love the real coffee espresso machine, it helps me wake up in the morning without having to go out. Although it’s not in the centre of town, there is a bakery just across the road and several restaurants near by. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Also a pool and free off-street parking.

If you’re looking for accommodation in Dubbo, look no further than the Bluegum - this place is perfect. The location is great - walking distance to restaurants & there is a bakery across the street. The rooms are perfect for a few nights stay, spotless with everything you need - we found a bathroom with a good layout & you don’t have to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper. The bed was super comfy, we had a big screen tv right in front to watch & PowerPoints beside us for phone chargers / extras. The fridge was a good size & even though it didn’t haven’t a freezer, they offer the reception freezer to guests. The pool was a great size for a quick swim, especially when driving in 40 degree weather & you want a quick refresh. The pool lounge area could do with some work, but I’m sure that’s in the future planning. Management (Damon) was very friendly & accommodating. I’d give this place more stars 🌟 if I could! Don’t bother looking elsewhere.

Service, room & the carpark facility absolutely fantastic. I travel alot & it’s important to find the right hotel. When travelling into Dubbo, Bluegum will be my hotel of choice. 

Stayed for 2 nights over the Christmas period! What a fabulous experience! Great sized family room, fully stocked fridge and snacks, every amenity on hand, hot power shower, quiet location, no noise, super clean, comfy beds with quality linen! Now the best bit ... came back to our room after Christmas celebrations to find a handwritten Christmas card and Lindt stocking with chocolates for us! Beyond expectations for sure! Will be back! xx

A wonderful surprise! The rooms were exceptionally clean, with spotless and comfortable beds. After a very long drive, we just needed a place to rest, and we couldn’t have been happier. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a truly pleasant experience.

Spent two nights here recently and extremely happy with the accommodation. Very clean, modern, loved having a kitchenette with crockery/cutlery and microwave. Very comfortable bed and lounge chairs. Location is excellent, very central to everything. Lots of covered parking, great in summer. Staff were lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Best place in Dubbo. Rooms are very nicely renovated with a great little kitchen that provides everything you need for a simple meal. Comfortable beds, super-quiet air con and a quiet location overall. And a very friendly welcome from Damon. Would definitely return when I'm passing through again.
