Magnolia on Orchard

First time visiting, on a Saturday around 12:30pm. Most people seated outside on a lovey day, one table in use inside. Good selection on the menu for food and drink. Food tasted great, good flavours, care taken in presentation and quite different meals tabled together. Good staffing numbers but no one smiling or appearing to enjoy their day, tables not cleared, food on the floor under two tables and on a chair. Coffee was really well extracted, no sugar required. Front of house could do with support to improve. Will definitely return, some more yummy things on the menu to try. Thank you.

I was visiting in the area and found this little cafe tucked within Doreen township. The coffee was brewed strong and powerful and the muffin was a cheeky sweet treat. Thoroughly satisfying

Visited Magnolia on Orchard with my wife for breakfast and had a great experience. We ordered the Big Brekky and the Fusion, both dishes were full of flavour and very satisfying. Great portion sizes and beautifully presented. The cafe has a warm. Service was quick, and the food came out fresh and hot. Perfect spot for a laid-back breakfast or brunch. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu!

I recently came here for brunch with some friends and enjoyed my experience. We happened to arrive just before 11am, so by the time we ordered, we could order from both the all day breakfast menu as well as the lunch menu. I ordered the eggs benedict with house-made hash browns. It did not disappoint! I also really liked how I could choose my own juice by picking 3 different fruits. I enjoyed a fresh orange and apple juice. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to help us fit 5 people on a table. Quick service and great food. You can clearly tell this place is loved by the locals as when we arrived, the whole outside dining area was filled with patrons, kids and even dogs. Like the other reviews stated, you do need to line up and order your food rather than have a wait staff come and collect your order. But that is no biggie in my opinion. Overall, a great experience!

☕ Latte & Long Black Both the burger and the benny were packed with flavour and generous fillings, and the hash brown was fabulous 🥰 The coffee came in large portions and was smooth and rich😌 Highly recommend this spot if you’re after a peaceful vibe and high-quality food away from the city buzz 😉

Magnolia has become my go-to spot every weekend for the past 8 months, and for good reason. The barista not only remembers my coffee (Magic) but constantly refines it to perfection. I’ve tried other cafes in the area, but I always come back to Magnolia. The consistency is unmatched, and there’s something special about a place that feels like home. Great coffee, genuine hospitality, and that warm feeling of being a regular - what more could you ask for?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
