MC Square Cafe

I had such a wonderful experience at MC Square Cafe! I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was stunning — beautifully plated with attention to detail — and the flavors were just as impressive. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and everything was cooked to perfection. You can really tell the care that goes into each dish. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys quality food and a cozy atmosphere!

I’m really grateful to have this local cafe next to the library, it’s in a really convenient area and they have a great variety on their menu. Every time I’ve come they’ve been pretty busy so it can take some time to be served but the staff are apologetic and I know they’re working hard and trying their best so I don’t mind. I’ve had both the green day and immunity juice and both are so good! I really recommend it, I know it’s a bit pricey but they make the juice fresh and it’s so delicious every time. I hope to try their main meal menu sometime too because the food looks and smells so good.

Atmosphere is great! These a lot of options too! But this cafe is probably the worst I’ve seen with takeaway drinks. I’ve been here a few times hoping for a better outcome yet it seems it never improves. Getting a takeaway coffee or another beverage here takes forever apparently 20mins + and it’s not because they’re understaffed or in a busy hour, beverages are just left hanging around on the counter forever. Not because there’s an order line 🙁 this happens every time and I’ve decided not to bother any more.

MC Square Café is such a hidden gem, especially if you’re heading to the library next door. I wasn’t expecting much, but the coffee was unexpectedly amazing—smooth, rich, and just what I needed. The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is really lovely. There’s plenty of shade, so you’re not roasting in the sun, and they even have power outlets if you want to plug in your laptop and get some work done indoor. Super convenient! The food is just as good as the coffee. Whether you’re after a quick snack or a proper meal, everything is fresh and tasty. It’s the perfect spot to take a break from studying or just relax for a bit. The vibe is chill, and the staff are friendly, which makes it a really nice place to sit and unwind. If you’re at the library and need a little escape (or just a really good caffeine fix), this is the place to go. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Everything we ordered today was a hit—no misses at all! The unagi don was such a pleasant surprise—it came with a whole piece of eel! And the sweet potato was unbelievably delicious. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely loved this place! The coffee is always excellent, and the food is impressive—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented (the katsu curry was a standout!). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed catch-up or solo visit. Special thanks to Gary and Nicole for their outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

Love this place. I always stop for a chai or match drink. Love their wagu beef bowl or their chicken bowl. So filling and a large serving . Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
