Hyderabad Darbar Restaurant - Dum Biriyani Restaurant

Ordered Shahi Paneer and garlic naan through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The Shahi Paneer lacked flavor and did not taste fresh. Some paneer pieces were black inside—you can clearly see the difference between two paneer pieces in the attached photo. This raised serious concerns about quality and freshness. The garlic naan was dry and had barely any garlic. Not worth the price. I won’t be ordering again.

Had ordered chicken biriyani for a party and was wonderfully surprised by the authentic hyderabadi taste. We got the option to have it in a big pot instead of individual packs, so it was exclusively cooked for us and was very fresh. Quantity and meat was value for money too. Very nice staff and all communication was smooth when we placed the order over the call.

Ordered butter chicken, got butter gravy with a chicken cameo. There were barely any pieces of chicken just a whole lot of sauce. For that price, I expected an actual meal. Not worth the money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an excellent experience with Hyderabad Darbar Restaurant – Dum Biryani. The food was outstanding, especially the Hyderabadi dishes. The biryani had authentic taste, great aroma, and was loved by everyone. We placed a bulk order for around 80 people for a family dawat, and the team went above and beyond. They generously added extra meat and items from their side, which we truly appreciated. Every guest enjoyed the food and gave very positive feedback. We have also dined in before, and the dining experience is just as impressive. Great service, quality food, and consistent taste. Highly recommended for dining as well as for catering and events. We will definitely order again.

Dare I say that this might just be the best Indian restaurant in Dandenong! Absolutely delicious biryani. This is a must try item here. Really well balanced and outright delicious. I absolutely love that they use chicken breast pieces as their boneless pieces for some dishes. It’s easy to over cook chicken breast and they fact that I have yet to eat dry pieces kinda tell me they put effort and attention to their cooking. And having had other Hyderabadi food which has always been very heavy on spices in my experience this place balances everything rather well. I went here 4 days in a row when I discovered this place

False pricing on ads flyers, in-house menu . Reported to consumer affairs for false branding. Asking customers to pay more out of there food authority prices. Added 2$ extra on all extra items , upon asking they said all the prices are wrong on all their branding , menu, board , flyers which they keep for customer before the order.

Not enough people eating at this restaurant! Had the goat hyderabad dum biryani and chicken karahi with cheese naan. Loved the biryani nicely spiced and not dry. 5 star recommend. Chicken karahi is good too, the naan was even better.
