Shanling Chinese Restaurant

I picked up 2 x containers of noodles today , one Satay and the other Mongolian beef. My wife and l started eating while the food tasted fine we both were shocked on the amount of onions in both containers, we took out most and nearly filled 1/2 a container which l threw in the bin. I don’t normally complain but l wasn’t happy with our meals so l call the restaurant and spoke to the owner explaining what happened and as requested l sms these photos. The owner called me back and said the chief ( his brother may of put too many onions but there was nothing he could do !!! He said maybe next time he would add more veggies instead of onions which l still wasn’t happy with on principle l asked for a small discount or something else but he refused so would l recommend this Chinese restaurant unfortunately no and l will never return or never recommend anyone go there sadly. I will find a new restaurant in the area ( Cranbourne). For the record l gave plenty of chances to rectify the situation but unfortunately here we are with a bad review and a loss of a customer .

Food, service and atmosphere is all great. I haven’t dined in for some years but as a takeaway, I cannot fault. Even the containers for takeaway are sealed with gladwrap to prevent leakage, and there has been an extra added in my recent visits there.. this time coke, the time before.. I can recommend anyone going there… it’s usually busy with people dining in and taking away.

Shanling has been in business since Adam was a boy. It also gets very good reviews from a large pool on Google. The place is packed to capacity within 30 minutes of opening, and the food is delicious. What more do you need to know?

This is my first time buying from here. I’ve selected 5 stars for atmosphere even though it was a takeaway order. The place was packed, everyone looked happy and the service was outstanding. As I walked in I was met by a very friendly and engaging gentleman. I purchased the Mongolian Beef noodles. They were still hot when I got them home and they were outstanding. I wish I had taken the time to take a photo. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, well presented dishes with friendly helpful staff. Great value for money and the banquets are well worth it. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for accommodating food allergy requests and any special requests.

Absolute 10/10! Came here for dinner Friday night with a group of 5. The atmosphere and vibe was so cosy, the amazing customer service from every single server was top notch, and of course the incredible food was so fresh, tasty, large in quantity and insanely affordable. We'll certainly be back 😊

Visited for the first time, tried the banquet (cheapest one) and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was phenomenal and great servings too.
