If this is what is proclaimed to be authentic Karachi taste in Melbourne then please shut the business down, ordered Chicken biryani, beef bihari boti roll, malai boti roll and anda burger. Wasn’t expecting anything like authentic Karachi taste bit I swear the food did not even came close to what karachi food tastes like. I would really love to cook biryani myself and serve the owners to give them a taste into real biryani, bihari boti roll I am not even sure about what I was eating couldn’t even taste the beef in there and it tasted so weird I had to stop after two bites. Never visiting again and would not be recommending to anyone who is in search of the karachi taste.
Grabbed takeaway for beef biriyani (dish only available on Sundays). I had to have a taste whilst I made my way around hunting out other street food amongst the various food trucks. Thr biriyani presents a generous serve, nice loose rice grains carrying good spiced flavour and tender pieces of beef that just fall apart. I ate some more when I got home and then the rest the next day. I reckon the flavour kept getting better!
We tried their kachori, anday wala burger and biryani. And each one was incredible in its own authentic way. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced. The biryani was sooo good that we had to grab an extra box to take home! Absolutely loved both the food and the customer service. Now I just wish they’d open a branch in East Melbourne too!
Had a great experience at Karachi Street Food! We tried the andey wala burger, biryani, gajar ka halwa, and kachori, and everything was absolutely delicious. The andey wala burger was fresh and full of authentic Karachi-style flavour. The biryani was aromatic and well-balanced, not overly spicy but very tasty. The kachori was crispy and satisfying, and the gajar ka halwa was rich, fresh, and perfectly sweet. Special thanks to Ammar, who served us — he was very polite, friendly, and made the experience even better. Overall, the food truly reminded us of Pakistani street food from Karachi. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!
Extremely disappointed due to false advertisement; this was nowhere close to authentic Nihari. The dish was a pathetic, flavorless paste, overwhelmingly floury and completely inedible. I had to throw it out. The staff was unapologetic and insisted this poor quality was their standard, which was the final insult. Save your money and avoid this disappointing experience of Nihari
We love the Biryani, both Beef and Chicken, as our experience has been really incredible every single time! Anday wala burger is scrumptious, so is the Kachori! This place is worth a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!!
I tried the egg burger from Karachi Food Street Food Truck, and it was absolutely delicious! 🍔 The taste was amazing and full of flavour. Big thanks to Ammar for the great service — friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out!
