SCU Village Coffs Harbour

📍 Caterers in Coffs Harbour

2.9

Address offers a unique accommodation experience in Australia, catering primarily to students. The facility features 16 apartments, each with a distinct pastel color scheme and brick walls, creating a somewhat unconventional living space. The management, led by Lynda Eather, provides a hands-on approach, ensuring residents have a memorable stay. While the interior design may not appeal to everyone, the community aspect is notable, with opportunities to meet fellow students.

The accommodation includes basic amenities such as WiFi, which is adequate for completing academic tasks. However, some areas may require attention, including cleanliness and pest control. The overall experience at Address is a mix of challenges and opportunities, making it a place where resilience and adaptability are key. Despite some drawbacks, the potential for forming lasting friendships adds value to the stay.

SCU Village Coffs Harbour is in position 70 out of 71 in Caterers in Coffs Harbour

Refuge camp style accommodation, created due to AirBNB and negative gearing, leaving potential local student share houses empty. The interiors of the 16 Apartments are painted in horrible pastel colours, with dirty grey carpets and repressive brick walls. It's an interior design nightmare created by an architectual fashion victim. The manger, Lynda Eather, put me in a mouldy room I got sick in at first, and thought it was funny when I asked to move rooms. Her favourite thing she told me, was to "put people together in apartments that won't get along" she says she enjoys the fireworks 😒 I call that irresponsible management. WiFi is ok and I was able to complete my Tourism Units under duress. Turning a negative into a positive, I met some nice students there, and we will remain friends.

Most disgusting village I have ever resided at. Residents are horrible. The place stinks. Cockroaches and scabies, not to mention the bed bugs. No WiFi. No oven, no music, no tv, bathrooms stink of sewage. There's even a website based on some of the students, if loud, your placed on it and photos are then taken of you. The managers of this facility also let themselves into your room without warnings.Your not allowed guests or visitors and the support you receive from people here is terrible. 100%

Carpets, furniture and curtains were stained, filthy and old, place was infested with bugs, room pricing was ridiculous, a WHOLE VANITY from the bathroom was missing - replaced with cheap metal shelves on wall, everything was worn out, stoves were rusty, no oven, no TV, as shown online, rooms stink, false online advertising beyond measure. (Two photos provided, my room compared to what is shown online.)
