If you’re looking for authentic Indian flavours, this is the place to go! Every dish tasted traditional and full of aroma. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the food felt freshly prepared. The service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone who loves genuine Indian cuisine. This place truly stands out for quality and taste.
Don’t know why this place is rated so low. Coming from Sydney where we have a large variety of Indian restaurants with amazing - traditional quality, I didn’t come with high expectations! But I was wrong, and so are all the negative reviews. I ordered Lamb Vindaloo & the taste/spice ratio was as Vindaloo should be, there was SO much meat, not at all stingy!! Most places are. The meat was cooked perfectly, fall apart, super flavourful. I recommend trying this place, as far as I know - the flavours are traditional & well done!
Really enjoyed this place! The Indian food was authentic. The spices were spot on, and the service was fast with friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving great Indian food.
Delicious food, obviously had to get the butter chicken and it was amazing. You can even choose the spice level! Served was lovely and would check in with us during the meal. 10/10 would visit again.
Went there on 14th october 2025, 6:25 pm . We were on long drive from QLD -NSW -ACT and back to QLD. So, decided to make a dinner stop at Coffs harbour have a look around the city and Big banana 🍌 in Coffs Harbour. Decided to eat indian . We were 4 in total . Ordered 3 chicken biryani and 1 Tandoori chicken . Ordered salad on request (out of menu scope- for me ) . Thank you so much on making them . Tandaroori chicken and salad was 5/5 . Biryani was 0/5. It was high on Masala and not colorful instead it was like a fried rice . Rice grains was lumpy and not even colourful. I would say it was wrost then a fried rice . A biryani should compose of safron rice , turmeric rice , white rice and colorful combination . Not much more chicken pieces was there . By respected loved brothers did not even eat 15% of Biryani . But Tandoori chicken (for me) was nice . Asked for some discount but did not got . Suggested talking to FOH boy the biryani was shit . Service was good . Beer was 5/5 .
This was a serious and unforgivable mistake. We clearly ordered VEG samosas, yet the restaurant served us NON-VEG samosas. One person who ordered is Sikh (Amritdhari)and has never eaten non-vegetarian food in their entire life. They trusted the restaurant and ate it believing it was vegetarian. Only afterward did we realize the truth. This is not a small error ,this is a complete failure of responsibility and respect for customers’ religious beliefs. For an Indian restaurant, mixing up veg and non-veg food is gross negligence. Many people rely on accurate labeling due to religion, ethics, and trust. This incident caused emotional distress and anger and completely destroyed our confidence in this place. If a restaurant cannot guarantee something as basic as whether food is veg or non-veg, it should not be serving customers. Management seriously needs to retrain staff and fix their kitchen practices immediately. We will never return and strongly warn others, especially vegetarians, to be extremely careful here.when we call back to restaurent to told them about mistake he replied that our owner is sikh(Amritdhari) as well , i clearly dont understand is this solution of the mistake??
Travelled from Sydney to Coffs Harbour and thought of dining in at Aroma’s. Loved the service but the Food was surprisingly v tasty. Ordered chicken Karhai and Garlic naan. The chicken was Halal and we loved it. Very tasty!
