Island home

The food was absolutely amazing and a huge hit with all our staff. The pastries and pan rolls were especially popular — the beef pan rolls disappeared within minutes! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and the heat level was spot on. Excellent quality and service from start to finish. Highly recommended and would definitely order again.

I used island home to cater a two day work event. The food was absolutely delicious, really authentic, with lots of different fantastic options. I would highly recommend their friendly services and will use them again in the future.

I've been a longtime fan of Island Home from the farmers markets, so was thrilled to learn they also offer catering, and having been using them for over a year now! You won't be disappointed - the meals are so delicious, innovative (no dried, curled sandwich triangles here!) and nutritious. Also love their zero waste ethos and using local, organic produce - you really can taste the difference. Very professional, easy to communicate with and very reasonably priced. If you're after something a bit different that everyone will talk about days after your event, Island Home is the way to go! Thanks Team Island Home!

Absolutely fantastic meals you can also take home to enjoy. We first encountered island home at the Shoreham Market. Highly recommend all the dishes but the fish curry is to die for!

Tried the Fish curry, and red rice option. The turnip and potato curry was perfect. Everything tasted fresh and balance. Loving the eggplant and tamarind moju which give the rice saltiness. Could have bought 2 pack instead.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Charith and Michele to cater a work event I organised, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From their excellent communication to their service on the night, and of course the incredible food (highlight of the event), everything was perfect. Thanks Charith and Michele!

Looking for something different to the classic "meat or fish" options, we engaged Charith and Michele of Island Home to cater our wedding. While it was a big job with many constraints including a small kitchen with limited access, limited table space, various dietary requirements and more, Charith and Michelle were meticulous and enthusiastic at every turn. They went above and beyond, bringing to life our vision for a decadent Sri Lankan meal complete with fresh hoppers, a spread of curries, sambols and sweets, beautifully displayed on banana leaf-covered tables. Our guests really loved the meal and attention to detail and we were so happy that we didn’t just go with the venue’s cookie cutter catering option. My only regret is forgetting to try a pan roll! I highly recommend Island Home for your events big or small.
