Amore on Buderim Rainforest Cabins

I would recommend a stay. Lisa and Nick are fantastic people who made us feel very welcome; nothing was too much trouble. The accommodations location is fantastic, close to everything you need, the cabin was clean and well presented, value for your money, and the surrounding areas are gorgeous with the sounds of nature all around. Definitely will be going back again.

The cabin had everything we needed for a little winter birthday getaway. We were greeted by lovely Lisa, given a breakfast basket and complimentary bath bombs upon check in. We also purchased a little fireplace pack with everything we needed for just 30 dollars, delivered to our cabin. Location is great, very tranquil but so close to Buderim shops and many cafes, and only 15 min drive to the coast. Perfect place for a special occasion.

On arrival at the Sunshine Coast I had a one night stay in Amore and was very impressed. It is not like a Hotel. The forest cabins are in a unique setting, are beautifully and tastefully furbished and the spa bath was a wonderful added attraction. Fresh coffee was available as well as a choice of teas and the breakfast, consisting of a beautiful yogurt, fruit and nuts and crumpets with butter and a choice of jams, was delicious, especially eaten out on the balcony overlooking the forest. The addition of a wine bar would be most welcome. The hosts are genuinely friendly and helpful and I am looking forward to returning there on 17th March for another overnight stay. Very impressed being allowed an early check in and late check out which is extremely convenient.

The cabins were close but felt private. They were a bit outdated but very, very clean. In the standard cabin, the bathroom was too small, probably due to the space used by the spa. The spa was not very comfortable and very old style. I'd ditch the spa, put in a clawfoot tub and make room for a bigger bathroom and a small breakfast table inside. The spa just used up too much room for not a lot of benefit. (Just my opinion) Also fly screens on the sliding doors and windows would be a good update to let in the lovely breeze. To be in a rainforest and so close to the beach and shops, was fantastic. Even though it was literally in the suburbs, it was quiet and tranquil in amongst the trees. The owners were extremely accommodating and welcoming to us and our old furbaby. We would definitely stay again as it is so quiet and so close to everything. The only thing from a dog's perspective, it would be great to have a nice grassy area as we had to leave the cabin and either walk up the streets or go to a dog park for toileting our dog. Overall a fantastic place to stay as you get your own lovely, private cabin with everything you need, for less than some motel rooms. 🙂

We have stayed at these cabins serval times, and the improvements over the past year are so refreshing. The whole atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and relaxing. One of the few places where you are genuinely welcome with your dog. Think he loves it just as much as we do. The new morning yoga class is a must, suitable for everyone, Lisa has such a gentle, calming way of guiding you through the session, perfect way to start the day. You can truly fell Nick and Lisa care for this place and their visitors, both on two and four legs. We can highly recommend this place and are looking forward to our next stay.

Stayed here with my partner and dog while in between rentals before Christmas and this place was a much needed retreat from the stressors of life! Nick and Lisa were warm, friendly, and helpful, making us feel at home there. The cabins are fully immersed in nature, we saw possums each night from our room, and an echidna, a bandicoot, and a snake, all from our balcony. Highly recommend and will be back again if we’re ever back in the area! Thanks for having us!

Great get away in the rainforest. Lovely luxury cabin among the trees and birds. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Pretty well had the place to ourselves with only the wildlife for company.. Beautiful indeed. Would be good if the urban neighbours could coordinate their lawn mowing, leaf blowing and other very loud gardening equipment to do it all at once instead of ruining the peace for hours.
