Di Marko's Off Centre Cafe

Next time you're in Bentleigh, venture off the main road and into this homely sanctuary. Mark is so warm and welcoming, all the while whipping up delicious treats in his compact kitchen. The coffee - superb (latte and iced long black, strongly recommended). The food - consistently fresh, generous and delicious (varied menu, there's something for everyone here). The decor - dark wood, homely accents and a relaxed vibe away from the bustling main street. Exceptional value with $12 fresh sandwiches (and who can say no to a $2 homemade cookie?)

Always have a lovely time chatting with Mark. His decaf coffee, chilli eggs and muffins are as classy as they come. After learning more about Mark’s F&B background, it all makes sense.

OK I'm always on the lookout for new place so was glad to come across Di Marko's. Now I must say what I absolutely loved about this place was its decor, a great dark wood panelled full length counter, dark wooden tables and chairs etc. Just adds something, a certain old timey ambience that other Cafes lack. I find this style very comfortable, much more than the modern breezy style. Was just going to get a takeaway coffee but then I saw scones. Scones! So I was obviously dining in. Have a breakfast menu with usual offerings, popular with locals, another nice Cafe, just off Centre Road, to try to if you haven't.

Stopped in here between appointments and cannot say enough in praise. I'm doing keto and Mark happily accommodated me with an off menu salad and coffee. Will definitely be back!

Just had some fruit toast and a lovely Belgium Hot chocolate. Which was made right, especially the hot chocolate, which was very tasty and the table service was very professional with smile. The cost was also very reasonable!

The silverside toastie I grabbed today was delicious! Super fresh with a really nice balance of flavour. Added a splash of hot sauce when I got home—perfect touch. I’ll definitely be back. 😊

Great food, atmosphere and service. Cakes are amazing and all home made. An enjoyable experience every time.
