Carmen, I couldn’t be happier with my wedding dress alterations! From start to finish, the service was absolutely amazing. Every detail was handled with such care, skill, and professionalism. The fit turned out perfect — it felt like the dress had been made just for me. The dressmaker listened to everything I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions that made it even better. Carmen came highly recommended by the bridal shop where my wife got her wedding dress and she did an amazing job with the alterations to the dress. She was even able to customise it with so add-ons to make it one of a kind. I was struggling to find a tailor to take on my tuxedo with such a tight deadline. And due to my short stature and stocky build, the suit needed a lot of alterations. But Carmen took it all on and got everything done on time. She even helped the best man with his suit too and was willing to help dry clean the wedding dress, veil, shawl and my dress shirt after the big event. Will always recommend Carmen for weddings moving forward.

Carmen did an incredible job on my wedding dress and completely changed the top for me. It was definitely a process and a lot of work for her but she nailed it! The left is my old dress next to my new on the right. The whole top was removed and remade for me with lots of design ideas and photos. The attention to detail Carmen put in is second to none down to the smallest things like hidden buttons. Cannot express how happy I was with the finished product

Carmen was pleasant over the phone and when I had concerns about adding sleeves to my dress she simply stated "Anything can be done". I also discussed before I arrived that I did not have an underskirt for my dress yet and she kindly offered to lend me hers which I appreciated. There was a miscommunication about the lacing at the back of my dress and when I arrived she very quickly became rude and aggressive. She said she didn't want to "put her name on a project like this" and said multiple times that she didn't want to work on the dress. Me and my mum took the hint and she began helping me get undressed. Carmen insisted that she wanted to undo my lacing so we can "get off her property quicker". She began undoing my dress without my consent, yanking the lace and screamed at my mother when she told Carmen that she would undress me. She pointed a finger at my mother's eye and yelled at her to get out. Then she proceeded to call the police while I was getting undressed as she wanted her underskirt, which I couldn't take off without taking off my own dress. The entire experience was a nightmare and her behaviour is inexcusable.
