Today I visited MV couture to look for my year 12 formal dress. I came in open minded but having some reference photos did really help. Maria came over to help us at the door, she seemed really happy and excited to make a connection with us as she was really friendly and helpful. Through the whole visit she had a really good process to eliminate dresses and getting more variety, as there was lots. Mia helped with tying and zipping up dresses, she did excellent every time, making sure the dress was really fitting well. Maria was really helpful when I was unsure on the dresses by using lots of stories and making sure I really loved the dress before committing, no buts, no maybes. Overall the experience was really good, especially for a first timer where your not sure what to look for. First store I visited on my day, the third dress I tried on I bought, absolutely beautiful. Very good experience overall, very experienced team members who knew their stuff which I really liked. Highly recommend.

Maria was absolutely amazing. I first came here five years ago for my middle school graduation, and coming back again now for my formal dress shopping felt really special. From the moment I walked in, Maria was so kind, attentive, and genuinely supportive. She took the time to listen to what I liked, helped me feel comfortable, and boosted my confidence with every single dress I tried on. We had such a lovely experience at MV Couture. Maria was incredibly accommodating and kind, especially with our clients who were in wheelchairs. She made it very clear that they were more than welcome to come in and be part of the experience, which meant a lot to us. There was absolutely no pressure at all, my friend tried on her first dress and ended up buying it straight away because it was perfect. Thank you, Maria, for being so welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely lovely. It made the whole experience relaxed and special.

This week I visited MV Couture with my daughter to look for a dress for her formal. When we arrived the young sales assistant was warm and welcoming. Then we encountered the older lady. She asked my price range I told her she immediately went and got a dress $80 over my budget. My daughter tried it on anyway and it fitted and was ok. She was telling us this style dress was only made for their store…we found it in a different colour at another store. (We did not purchase it) This was the first shop and first dress she’d tried on so my daughter said she’d like to look at other shops the older lady got very rude saying ‘you won’t find another dress to fit, you have broad shoulders and are tall’ body shaming her as well as trying to guilt my daughter into purchasing it. We left went elsewhere and found a beautiful formal dress. I would never go back to this store on principle.
