On 18 August 2025, I purchased hair in person from Liberty Hair Studio and was given the wrong product. When I requested a refund, the salon presented an in-store refund policy that is direct violation of Australian consumer laws This conduct is misleading and deceptive under section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), which makes it unlawful for a business to mislead consumers. It also breaches the consumer guarantee rights under the law, which cannot be excluded or replaced by a store’s own policy. I sent Liberty Hair Studio a formal email giving them the chance to rectify the situation, but I received no response. Their handling of this matter has been unprofessional and unlawful. Australians have the right to trade fairly and confidently without being ripped off or misled about their money. This experience has shown a clear disregard for those rights. I have reported Liberty Hair Studio to NSW Fair Trading and will be following up until the matter is properly addressed.

I bought my hair extensions from this African hair store, and I’m so happy with them! The quality is absolutely beautiful — soft, full, and easy to style. The texture blends perfectly with my natural hair, and it looks so natural. The customer service was amazing too — they were kind, helpful, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Honestly the ladies are so welcoming and very approachable!! Went in and booked to do my hair for a wedding and Lord Bless the lady that did it , I forgot her name but she was a soldier for 5Hrs doing my goddess boho hair & honestly fell in love with my hair !! As so was my family & friends, asking who did it ! Id recommend liberty hair studios for anyone whose looking to get hair done or just products in general!! Will definitely be a regular now 👀😂!
