I had a fantastic experience ordering online. The website was very easy to use, shipping was impressively fast, and everything arrived beautifully and carefully packaged. The silk fabric is absolutely lovely quality and, to my surprise, much easier to work with than I’d been led to believe in the past. On top of that, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help, which really adds to the overall experience. I’m so impressed and will definitely be ordering again — highly recommend!

Organza silk in rose tea. The photo on website was fairly accurate to what I saw on my mobile (samsung). Beautiful feel. No imperfections. Beautiful drape as pictured (love that the site does this with all the fabrics). Cut exactly to the requested size. Fast delivery too (Tas). And good communication with delivery as well. Definitely going to purchase from silk world again. Photo below has my rose coloured satin dress i am altering that the organza rose tea in the middle; fabric folded over four times.

Matthew from Silk World went above and beyond to assist me in sourcing the perfect colour to suit my skin tone, and the best material that’ll work best with the design I had in mind. Matt helped me prior to me visiting the store by answering questions on the phone and sending through photos. Needless to say his thorough assistance followed through the whole way. There were marks on the silk when it arrived. I emailed immediatley explaining the problem & they said they’d get back to me. A week later still hadn’t heard back UPDATE : they are sending out a replacement but I have to pay to return the damaged fabric. So, 2 metres of $40 /m fabric, has now cost me over $100.

Very helpful staff, went above and beyond to help me check fabric after a devastating flood stock loss in my workshop. Fabric is beautiful, quality and look just as described, and was the fastest easiest transaction I think I've ever had online! 100% wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again.

Staff were very helpful with samples and a remnant I purchased. We purchased the final fabric (Satin crepe 100% silk in gold) and then extra which was delivered with 24 hours! The result was superb, and the fabric devine to work with.
