Lesley's of Gawler

I went in one Saturday mornings in September needing an outfit for a semi-formal event that night. I find clothes shopping overwhelming and somewhat intimidating - while I'm a 'young' and gorgeous 50 year old, I'm round and short, so there's not a lot of places that I feel comfortable shopping in. Lesley's is now my number 1 place. I was made to feel so comfortable and embraced. I was encouraged to try things on that I never would have had the confidence to wear and ended up buying an outfit that I felt amazing in and received multiple compliments on.

Went in on closing but Karina (? I'm sorry if I got the name wrong!) Was so helpful, really great with picking colours and sizes. Such a relaxed environment. On the higher price side but great quality. Will be returning, great to be able to support local business

Actually overlooked this shop many times , my friend took me inside and to my delight they have a great range! Bought an amazing dress and bag ( I never buy bags in clothes shops) but I loved this one ! Great range of casual and dressy including plenty of accessories.

My first visit ... since I reside 2 hrs drive away! I was motivated by the radio advertisement. There was a selection of items "on sale" but I was appalled at the shocking high regular prices of stock! Quite unique fashion items were displayed and very attractive .. but at a prohibitive cost! I was drawn to a top displayed in the window .. only to be advised that the price was $300 🙄 Only recommended for ladies with an unlimited budget and those not impacted by the acceleration in the cost of living!

Beautiful store laid out like a sophisticated old country store. The staff were elegantly dressed with Labels I had not seen before. Beautiful old revival country store with leadlight and large windows. A store for all the gorgeous ladies out there. I will return to purchase more clothing in the very near future. Well done ✅

We took our mother there to find an outfit for her 90th birthday. The two lovely ladies in the store could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Not only did they help us problem solve getting mum into the store with her mobility problems, they encouraged her to sit down on the comfy couch while we found clothes for her to try on. They also offered us water without prompting. Not only did we find a lovely top for mum, each of us 3 sisters found clothes for ourselves. It wasn't hard with such a huge array of brands, styles and price ranges. They also have a whole room dedicated to heavily discounted items. The spacious change rooms made it easy for mum to get into with her walker while we were also able to help her without feeling too claustrophobic! All in all, an enjoyable outing for (the girls)! 🙂
