Kay is absolutely magnificent. When I started dress shopping I knew I wasn't going to find what I wanted in a standard bridal shop, so I started to look at couture dress designers. After chatting with a few, they just weren't getting what I had in my mind. As soon as I started chatting with Kay I knew she got me. She understood what I wanted and was onboard with my ideas. After showing her my inspiration images and discussing the style she drew up a design and we got to the fun part of creating! We discussed different fabrics and found the most amazing fabrics that all worked together cohesively. The design process was really collaborative and Kay took my ideas and added what she would know would work well. Kay was always honest and knew when to tell me that too much was too much when I started to get carried away with ideas. The entire process with Kay was amazing and was so smooth and stress free, and fittings were closer to the wedding than with other designers which made me feel more comfortable, knowing that slight adjustments to sizing would not be an issue and the dress would fit perfectly on the day. Her attention to detail and wealth of experience made my dress absolutely amazing and truly one of a kind. I could not recommend her highly enough and hopefully will have the opportunity to have her create something for me again.

Thank you Kay Elizabeth Couture for creating the dress and veil of my dreams to wear at my wedding on the 21st January, 2023. I first met with Kay in mid 2022 and she designed a dress based on many reference photos and vintage sewing patterns I'd found. Kay understood exactly what I was after - a vintage 1950s style wedding dress. Kay created a calico based on the design and it was a truly collaborative process, one that I will remember forever. Kay made so many helpful suggestions regarding a flattering neckline, waistline, seams, sleeve length, skirt length, fabric, pleating vs. gathering... the list goes on! Her experience and skill in dressmaking is unparalleled. No changes were ever too difficult. Kay suggested a removable overskirt so that I could be comfortable for dancing at the reception and the skill to design this with the attachments was incredible. The overskirt featured a large bow that was to die for. My dress even featured little clips to hold my bra in place, piping/boning and special dress shields in the event of a very hot Summers day. It was a complete work of art. Kay was highly organised, trustworthy and made me feel comfortable during every fitting. I ended up with a truly unique wedding dress that was a joy to wear and fit me like a glove. Kay, I can't thank you enough for creating such a beautiful garment that I will treasure forever.

Kay created the most beautiful gown for my wedding and her attention to detail could not be more perfect. The process was seamless, stress free and thoroughly enjoyable. Kay has a wealth of knowledge and experience in her field and that was translated to the final product - my custom made wedding gowns. She was reliable in the communication process and was generous with her time in our dress fitting appointments where we explored different options. Kay was also patient and always offered her advice to address any any queries or concerns along the way. Very happy with the result.

Kay designed and made me the most beautiful wedding gown using just a couple of pictures I sent her as inspiration. Throughout the dress making process Kay was so easy and accommodating to work with. After searching high and low for my dream dress with absolutely no luck, Kay was a god send. From the first meeting, I felt relaxed and comfortable and new she would be able to bring my ideas to life. The process of designing a bespoke gown really is a special one! From the sketching up the design, picking out the fabric and seeing the dress come to life with each fitting, is an experience I will always cherish about my wedding. Kay was so professional, and always listened to my ideas and nothing was ever too much!
