I had a terrible experience with this store when purchasing my gown. The wrong size dress was ordered and they stated they could fix it. However after taking it to 3 other seamstresses they advised it was too small and couldn’t be fixed without completely altering the dress. When I collected my dress, it was stuffed inside a plastic bag with no paperwork. I had to ask numerous amount of times for my receipt as I paid via bank transfer and only received it months after recieving my dress and the wrong size was written on it. I found them to be very rude and with the lack of help and support I ended up exchanging my dress directly through the designer thankfully. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this store at all.

A big thank you to Jen & Cheryl for making my beautiful wedding dress. With only 3 months notice they were able to make a dress that was beyond my expectations. I loved every minute wearing the dress & I’m still receiving lovely comments three weeks after the wedding. Nothing was to much trouble for Jen & Cheryl. Thanks so much, I highly recommend Poppy’s.

Terrible customer service and lack of accountability, I would not recommend buying your wedding dress from poppy’s. I ordered my dress in jan, told it would be there by June. It had arrived 2.5 weeks prior to my wedding. They ordered wrong dress… argued with my mother and sister about it being the right dress. I’m nearly in tears at this point…handed me the dress off the floor stock rack that I’d originally picked, which ended up having stains and marks all over it. Kept making comments like I’d lost weight and that’s why it didn’t fit. I hadn’t not…The dress didn’t end up fitting properly, they made it challenging to alter the dress saying "I would have to work around them". I had to have another seamstress alter what she could and she was horrified at the work they’d done. my MOH contacted them about our concerns about the dress and the terrible service. Jen was rude, unprofessional and unapologetic, she had no care and obviously no financial compensation. I’m not the type of person to usually complain, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Ironically the owner posted a wedding dress in my size on buy swap sell recently, so if you want your dress shopping experience to be stress free and not get screwed over, don’t go here. I wasn’t originally going to bother with uploading a review but after the experience and seeing what was probably my wedding dress on buy swap sell, I’m going to encourage people to go else where for there bridal needs. It’s such a special day that doesn’t need to be hindered by people who don’t care about there job.
