McNevins Maryborough Motel

Great place to stay, not too close to shops and pubs so it's nice and quiet. I had a good size room which was clean and well maintained. Newly renovated bathroom. Very comfortable king sized bed. Reasonably priced for what I got. I'll definitely stay here again.

Clean, attractive, comfortable stay with great facilities and thoughtful, professional staff! Loved the room decor and attention to detail and the Glasshouse Cafe is superb.

We had the family room. It was great. The breakfast Cafe was right out side our room, just a few stepsaway. Also very convenient location to town. There was also a food mart a short walk way. With everything you will need for your stay, also amazing service at the food mart. Definitely recommend ❤️

Had such a nice stay at the McNevins Motel. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, right underneath an air-con and in front of a big TV. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Located right across the road from the White Lion pub and only 10 minute walking distance from Woolworths and plenty of nice cafes. As a first time visitor to Maryborough, I know I will be definitely coming back to such a beautiful little town and I will definitely stay at McNevins.

The room was immaculately clean, and staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I liked the quality wood panelling on the cupboards very much, giving the space a timeless feel The only disappointing thing (and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5) was being required to ask for plates, knives and forks to eat a meal. (There were 2 bread and butter plates and 2 coffee cups,) I stayed for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year, and relied on takeaway for 2 dinners. I didn’t ask because it required me going on my wonky knee up to reception (and frankly I didn’t want to have to ask). I am curious as to why this is the case, given that there is a microwave for heating food. Anyway, that was my only disappointment, otherwise happy.

The rooms are always well cleaned and the motel itself exceptionally well maintained. Great costumer service and excellent food as well. Worth every penny 🤝🏼

We stayed for a few nights over the Christmas period. Please maintain the showerhead as it flopped straight down as it can't be tightened anymore, probably just needs a new washer. Meant we had a terrible shower each night. The room also has no blockout blinds and a door at the back with a window with no blinds at all. We drove for 12 hours and wanted a nice rest but it was so bright at night with the carpark lights on, and the sun comes up around 4.30 am so it was VERY hard to sleep. I had an eye mask on but I could still see the light through it in the morning. Please consider block out curtains as generally people who are travelling and stay at motels need a decent sleep. Here is a photo of how bright the room was at 10.40 pm Christmas night!
