Cara Motel

We stopped by on our way to Brisbane. Glad we did. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade however the bathroom looked like it had been upgraded a bit. Friendly and helpful reception. Nice and quiet area. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, very close to bus stop, 5 mins drive to the city center. Spacious, very clean,ac rooms, with a kitchenette, comfortable bed,clean bath room with hot shower,loads of powerpoints. House keeping done everyday, very cordial staff. Owner was very friendly and accomodative. Great and inviting pool.Coffee shop/ cafe on each side of the motel drive way. Quiet rooms set at the back of the property. Under cover car park in front of the room. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again on our next visit. Cara motel is amazing. Highly recommended. We give a 5 🌟

Just had 3 night stay, room lovely, dated but had everything I needed. Bathroom was very clean with everything provided, water pressure was amazing. Bed awfully old & hard but guessing upgrades to new beds & bedding still in the process. Male manager very unapproachable, I found him a bit rude and very 'creepy' feeling around him. Just shrugs and stares. Seems to just creep around not doing much but smoking & watching... Definitely doesn't appear to enjoy his job... Cleaning staff absolutely beautiful ladies. Nothing was a problem for them, very happy to help and lovely to have a chat with. Facility was relatively quiet, perfect location next to the best coffee shop (Sip Espresso Bar). Will definately stay again if ever in town.

Room was great and bathroom , shower awesome, good value for the money, Michael the manager went above and beyond to help me find cheaper longterm accomadation during a emotional and stressfull time while my father was dying in hospital. Will stay there again, no probs when in town.

We had a lovely and enjoyable stay for a week in Cara Motel in April 2025. Excellent location, very close to bus stop ,5 min ride to city center great and inviting pool,coffee shop and cafe on each side of the motel drive way. Quiet room set at the back of the property. Under cover car park right in front of the rooms. Spacious, very clean, AC rooms with a small kitchenette, comfortable bed,clean bath rooms, hot shower, loads of power points. House keeping done daily, very cordial staff. Owner was very friendly and accomodative. Felt very homely. This motel is amazing and a lovely place to stay. Will stay there again on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay in Maryborough. We give a 5 🌟.

Stayed three nights the hosts were exemplary nothing was too much trouble,I wish Cara and her husband the very best in their new endeavor.
