Hamer Hall

We visited this concert hall for the first time to attend a world-class tenor performance, and it was an unforgettable experience. The acoustics were incredibly professional, capturing every detail of the singer’s voice with clarity and warmth. During the intermission, they even offered red wine and small bites, which added a lovely touch to the evening. The venue felt welcoming and comfortable, the staff were warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing. With beautiful vocals, a well-organized setting, and thoughtful service, it truly made for a wonderful night. Highly recommended!

Hamer Hall is a beautifully elegant venue situated beside the Yarra River, which adds to the sense of occasion when attending a concert. The acoustics are outstanding, making live performances a genuine pleasure to experience. I have attended several concerts at Hamer Hall, and each one has been memorable. Highlights include watching my son perform in the Accent on Music concert and attending a performance by the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Every visit has been both rewarding and enjoyable, and Hamer Hall continues to stand out as an exceptional venue for live music.

My husband and I attended the Mika Hakkinen & David Coulthard F1 Legends event last night, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Hamer Hall has some great performances, which are all in an impressive, clean and inviting environment. Our tickets were for the Circle section, and we both found the seating to be very comfortable, and we could see and hear everything clearly. The staff were professional, friendly and accommodating, and we'd definitely recommend a visit to Hamer Hall.

Watched Cats here - a lovely, modern venue that’s quite a departure from the typical East End theatres. Plenty of toilets, bars and snack stations, plus merch shops for souvenirs.

I've come to Hamer Hall multiple times this year for events and I don't believe I've had one bad experience. The seats are comfortable and clean, the venue is simply amazing for all the experiences I've had with decorations for certain viewings. The food and drink can be a little bit expensive, however, why not splurge once in a while for a night out for great events. Can't wait to attend more MSO concerts here!

One of the premier and elegant venues in Melbourne. The sound is audio perfection and the interior design is simply sophisticated. Attended the screening of The Terminator with a full orchestra backing playing the score. The massive Japanese drums, ō-daiko were a highlight.

Saw Cats at Hamer Hall and it was absolutely breathtaking. The cast, choreography and music were all extraordinary, and the theatre itself made the whole experience feel even more magical. From the first note to the final bow, it was captivating and emotional. One of those rare shows that leaves you in awe long after you walk out — highly recommend.
