I love Bighouse Arts. It’s a friendly, creative community filled with lovely people located in Coburg North. I started out with a desk and then moved into a studio as I needed more space. I love both, and I’m so happy I found Bighouse Arts. The management team are very friendly and I found the process of signing up easy and streamlined. The other tenants/members are very friendly. If you’re looking for a coworking space for your creative side hustle and/or as an alternative to working from home (or both), look no further than Bighouse Arts. It’s more than a working space, it’s an inspirational creative environment that makes you want to come to work. The building was an old chocolate factory (or so I’m told) and is filled with vintage wood panelling. It’s such a great atmosphere to work in. Also, they have heaps of parking, an espresso machine, and a retro Melbourne tram — what more could you ask for?!

We held a photoshoot in this space and it was great! Parking onsite, huge area to set up and great light. Everything we needed to make the day a success including comfy sofas for models to relax in between shots.

This is the most perfect spot to celebrate special times with your family.

We recently hosted our wedding at Bighouse Arts and it was epic! The space is a blank canvas to make your own and has the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space. The vintage tram is a very unique feature and was perfect for our photobooth - the guests loved it, especially the kids. The venue offers a multitude of items to hire if required to make for easy planning. We utilised tables, chairs, games (ping pong), glassware, linens, vintage furniture and bar staff. The team, specifically Eileen was so supportive and accommodating in bringing our vision to life and also provided amazing on the day support to allow our event to run smoothly. The venue is also great value for money. Not that we'll ever have to get married again (fingers crossed) but we would highly recommend.

I have been a working artist renting out a studio at Bighouse for about four years and it feels like a second home. It is such a welcoming space with incredibly friendly people and the managers are super friendly, accommodating, inclusive and just really rad people! They care so much about the building itself as well, and are lovely hosts when it comes to hiring the space next door too. Their warehouse space for film, photography and events is so spacious and their recording studio is such a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Really a good place for filming videos for music videos and short movies too. They have an classic tram where we can film. And the studio is also good.

I can not rate this place highly enough. Eileen was a superstar from start to finish. The space is lovely and such a unique vibe. The staff were fantastic, the facilities were brilliant and we had the best time.
