The Leea Darwin - Wedding Venue

The Leea Darwin stands as a well-located wedding venue in the city center, blending convenience with charm. Its proximity to dining, shopping, and attractions makes it an ideal choice for events, while the spacious rooms and modernized interiors—particularly the Loft suites—offer a refined atmosphere. The on-site restaurant delivers a consistent dining experience, with a well-regarded buffet and attentive service.

Outdoor spaces, including two distinct pool areas with shaded retreats, enhance the venue’s appeal, especially for larger gatherings. While some operational details, like pool hours, may vary, the overall experience remains polished, supported by a professional and welcoming staff. The venue’s blend of practicality and comfort makes it a strong option for both weddings and extended stays.

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel on our trip in NT. Great location, close to town and just about 15/20 min walk to the Wharf where even more places to eat and drink are available. Staff was friendly and helpful to provide directions. |Our room was comfortable and clean. While the decor and bathroom may have seen better days, that didn't impact our perception. We tried the buffet breakfast once, it was good and included several options. However, you do have a couple of brunch options nearby (but be ready to spend a bit more). |Overall a good experience and would stay again if back in Darwin in the future.

Have stayed at this accommodation when it was Mirambeena, and Travelodge. It’s in a great location close walking distance to supermarket, bus stop and local attractions. Unfortunately the pool closes at 7pm compared to other places that allow you to swim until 10pm, and spas are not working anymore. We stayed in a townhouse which was wonderful. Lots of room to move. I’m sorry to say, but most of the reception staff were terrible. They did not listen to questions asked. On at least three occasions we asked a question, and received an answer that had nothing to do with what we had asked about. An example. I rang to have housekeeping make the bed. Five minutes later had a knock at the door with a receptionist holding coffee pods that she said we rang for. Also seemed to be slight confusion with arrangements made with original booking with Travelodge.

Was a great stay a few staff were hard to understand due to accents and we did get evacuated early in the morning due to some ones room alarm.Staff were not helpful about directing people where to go in an emergency so all the gusset looked rather lost with some just going back to there rooms. Pool was lovely and warm the other pool was cooler so was nice to have a choice. Lots of shade to keep cool and bar staff and service was fantastic. I believe her name was Emily and she was very friendly and professional.

Family of 3 --early October. we stayed 6 nights in an eco double queen room and it was great value for money. The choice of the 2 different pool areas was awesome, giving a fully shaded space as an option. There were plenty of other families with young children around too, so it was filled with lots of laughter and pool fun. The facilities are clean and good quality. Across the road is Woolies, which is so handy. Great location and security to get in and out. We saw green tree frogs and many wonderful lizards. We would stay here again.

The hotel is ideally located close to the city centre. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the food was excellent. Most of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention goes to Larissa in the restaurant.

The Leea is an excellent upgrade on the old Frontier Hotel. The rooms have been freshened up - in particular the Loft rooms are really wonderful and spacious and quiet. The Dreamcatcher mattress meant I had the best night's sleep I've had in ages!!! The service was also top notch. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
