The Old Stone House

We recently had our wedding at The Old Stone House. Absolutely stunning venue. Perfect fit for the vibes we were going for - romantic, natural, and whimsical with a touch of fairy-tale magic. Our guests that utilised rooms at the house all enjoyed their stay. The events coordinator, Rachel, was lovely to work with. She was always available if we had questions, and she took so much stress off our plate. You can tell she truly cares about your experience. Big thank you to the whole Stone House team for making sure everything went to plan. We would definitely recommend this venue for any event.

We got married at The Old Stone House in February 2024. Everything was perfect- from the gardens, to the ongoing communication and organisation from Rachel- everything was so thought out and presented perfectly. Everyone raved about how beautiful the location and gardens were-and we were lucky enough to get perfect weather. We had both our ceremony and reception at The Old Stone House with approx 88 people in total. Rachel really takes care of you during the lead up to the wedding, going through expectations and understanding my vision for set up and scheduling and executing it perfectly on the day without me having to lift a finger or worry about details so I was able to just enjoy the day knowing everything was in Rachel’s capable hands. This was the first location we looked at for wedding venues and the moment we saw the gardens we knew it was exactly what we were after. If you’re wanting a fairytale garden wedding where absolutely everything is in one place-everything is set up and organised on the day without you having to delegate to other friends/family so you can just be completely present and focused on the wedding day- this is it. I just had my wedding at this venue and can say it was just incredible. Rachael and her family were so helpful in the process leading up to the day, and the day itself. Everything from setting it all up to packing it down and managing all the little bits throughout the night. The gardens were something out of a fairytale, and the ceremony was beautiful. Having the reception at the same venue as the ceremony was also incredible, with the marquee being perfect for what we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect wedding. For what you're paying, it is amazing.

Got married here (October 2022); the venue is amazing, with beautiful gardens and a great vibe. John, Rachael, and Debbie are fantastic people and outstanding hosts, and the rooms on sites are spacious and comfortable. Multiple guests at our wedding remarked that they wanted to pinch our choice of venue for their wedding and I wouldn't blame them. Cannot recommend The Old Stone House enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at the Old Stone House last Saturday. I can't praise Deb and Rachel highly enough. The pre wedding set up was exactly as our daughter imagined. The attention to detail was superb and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this amazing venue without hesitation. Deb and Rachel: you guys made the day incredibly special and I've never seen our daughter happier, thank you 😊

The team at Little Weddings make planning a wedding so easy. Rachael is a warm and kind person who is responsive and thoughtful in her communication. The whole process is streamlined and efficient and you can opt into as much or as little organising that suits you. Their partnership with the celebrant, photographer, and even florist means you can have a beautiful day without needing to worry about co-ordinating these aspects of your day. The gardens are so beautiful and well thought-out, with many choices for the location of the ceremony. The team are flexible and don't have expectations of what a wedding 'should' look like - it is truly what both partners feel will make the best day for them. We had an amazing day and are so glad we chose Little Weddings.
