Married By Max - Marriage Celebrant

Max was our celebrant in November of 2025 and we were so so happy with how it went. From the first meeting it felt like we knew him for years. He was always organised, casual and made us at ease over the whole wedding process as well as on the day. He was very flexible in terms of meetings, recognising that I worked shift work so was able to meet at varying days/hours. Given his occupation as a lawyer, he was also completely across all the legalities/paperwork needed in the marriage process. We had multiple comments from people asking how long we had been friends with Max which goes to show how much effort he put in in tailoring the ceremony/stories to us. Further, guests were really impressed about how he didn't take the spotlight and kept it about us. Guests particularly appreciated when he would stand in the aisle during the ceremony rather than up the front, so that they could just focus on us. Lots of laughs and tears throughout. He was funny, authentic, warm, nailed the ceremony briefing and we wouldn't change a thing. Don't look any further, Max is the celebrant for you!

Max was the absolute perfect fit for us, we wanted a casual and meaningful ceremony and Max nailed the brief! From the get go he was easy to chat to and made us feel at ease, it felt like having a good friend up there with us. He embraced the chaos of little kids and dogs being part of the ceremony. We had so many comments from friends and family about how great the ceremony was, he really was instrumental in our perfect day.

We couldn’t have asked for anyone as wonderful as Max. He made everything so easy and stress free, especially for a person who has no organising specialty at all. The day of the wedding he was an absolute legend, kept it funny and short the way my husband and I wanted. He made us feel comfortable and confident in front of everyone. We couldn’t recommend Max more, we are very lucky to have had him on our special day.

Where to even begin! We are so thankful to Max for marrying us and being our MC! He made us feel at ease throughout the whole process, from our first meeting, to taking care of all the paperwork, then to on the day making sure we had a seamless outdoor ceremony (even with sporadic rain showers). Max took the time to get to know us and created a ceremony that was so special. It was the perfect balance of humour, love and sentimentality and the ceremony is by far one of my fondest memories of the day. Max was also our MC and did such a good job! He made everyone laugh, made sure everyone was having a good time and kept the night on track. Max is the most amazing celebrant! Not only did he know his stuff and made the process super easy, he also made it fun. We had a great time working with Max over the course of our wedding preparation, and he delivered perfectly on the day. He was always available questions we had. Many of our wedding guests even said that Max’s opening speech during our wedding ceremony was lovely and just perfect! Max is an amazing celebrant that really did go above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was best it could be. From the start, Max ensured that he understood exactly what we were going for. We had a smaller wedding without the formalities and Max took the time to create a ceremony that matched our intention.
