Blanco Weddings

Endless thanks to Lauren and the team at Blanco Weddings for making our special day truly unforgettable! We planned an intimate ceremony at the Cycad Collection Lawn, hoping for sunshine in September, but almost lost hope with the morning rain. Lauren, proactively set up chairs at the Summer House while still keeping the outdoor option ready. Miraculously, the rain stopped just 20 minutes before the ceremony. When we asked if we could go back to the lawn, Lauren didn’t hesitate. She acted fast, wiped down wet chairs herself, rearranged everything, and the setup was ready just in time. Our friends are still talking about her amazing effort and positive energy! Their ceremony packages are very affordable, and we even received complimentary cake-cutting service.

We could not fault a thing, Lauren and the team were so excellent to work with and just made everything easy for us! The care, dedication, and support in the lead up and on the day was flawless. They really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They were so flexible and nothing was too hard for them. Thank you for everything, it made our wedding day so wonderful!

Extremely disappointed in Blanco and the Botanic Gardens. If you’re wanting a wedding DO NOT do it at the Botanic Gardens, even though the scenery is beautiful it’s not worth it for how much hassle and stress Blanco and the Botanic Gardens caused. Very hard to work with there team. All my client wanted was a small PA system and a piano keyboard but they said no and threatened me with a $2000 fine if I was too loud. They band us having a keyboard for the ceremony because they did not have enough time to get an allowance for one. But they only started to communicate with us properly a week before the wedding so stuffed us around last minute. I’ve done many events in this part of the Botanic Gardens before and have had no stress like this before - lots of double standards and rules. 1 event they let you drive through to unload, have a full band and a sound system, the next you can’t have anything. I would think if a client is paying to use the grounds they should have the grounds support to make there day what they in-vision, not have to fight for bare minimum.

Lauren! Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thanks for helping us pull off that ceremony in the rain on Saturday. You were our ultimate problem solver and we couldn't have done it without you. Let's hope for your sake the rest of November holds clear! Thanks again, Heidi 🙂

The Adelaide Botanic Garden was the perfect spot for our wedding ceremony. My biggest requirement was manicured grass and lots of luscious gardens. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot! Our site was Auracuria Avenue, the one with the really big pine trees. This was by far the best spot, as it still had the aspect of privacy and intimacy even in the busy gardens. Elliott was super helpful and ensured that the day would run smoothly. We didn’t hire anything other than the chairs and signing table, but even just these two things were set up perfectly, allowing us ease in setting up without additional worries.

Dream Wedding Venue. Ceremonies here feel like a fairy tell. They have stunning backdrops everywhere and endless photo opportunities. Their restaurant is impeccable and very professional. Looking forward to working together again guys!
