Echidna Sewing

Just recently bought my new Horn Lux-i chair. Absolutely love the lumbar support and the colour Ocean is gorgeous. As always the service is perfect.

Customer service for my $2500 sewing machine that I arrived with a bent component was poor. I work with machines so know when there is a problem. Machine is great otherwise and I was able to get them to send me the replacement component to install myself but I felt like I was a nuisance more than anything else. No follow up, but machine works well now. Definitely recommend the sewing machine. From my research I expected Echidna Sewing to be reassuring that it would be sorted and they'd look after me but I just felt like a nuisance. The person I was able to speak to was not tech help as they were too busy but was definitely irritated with me for expecting prompt help with my brand new machine. Echidna Sewing sent me an automatic request to review the product but when I tried to submit my review it would not post.

Di was very helpful! She gave me a demo on the machine I was interested in and helped me with what I needed to buy. I'll definitely be back in touch with any of my sewing/ embroidery needs. Thanks heaps

If I could give zero stars, I would. Walked into this store and was met with Di, who clearly woke up and chose attitude. She was incredibly rude and dismissive not just to me, but to the young guy working there too. The way she spoke to him was uncomfortable to watch, and her whole vibe screamed "I don’t want to be here." Honestly, it killed any interest I had in buying something. Customer service 101: if you hate dealing with people, maybe don’t work in retail. Won’t be coming back.
