Fish magic has been my local for over a year now and I travel past other fish n chip shops in my area to go there. First impressions of the shop was that it is extremely clean and well presented. The owners are friendly and you will be greeted by the same smiley face every time you go. Now more importantly the food… as mentioned I go out of my way to buy food from here because it is that good! The hot chips are yum! Just recently I got the battered cod and it was very good! The batter was crunchy and thin and tasted great. Lastly they are very consistent with the quality of food they produce. It always tastes great!
Battered Fish not crunchy, too oily, batter tasted as if it was last weeks batch. Sea Food salad heaps of mayo with celery and fake crab - no shrimp.
Got fish and chips—but instead of fish, I went with seafood sticks, a prawn cutlet, and a potato scallop, and it did not disappoint! Everything was crispy, hot, and full of flavour. The seafood sticks were crunchy and satisfying, the prawn cutlet was juicy and golden, and the potato scallop was perfectly soft inside with a crisp outer layer. Such a delicious and comforting combo—so good and seriously yummy!
Really disappointed. Just ordered medium beer battered fries 6 dory fish and a couple of hotdogs for the kids. Chips were burnt and as you can see barely anything, fish was mostly batter and hotdogs were just bland. Won't be going back. Number 51
My mother and I came here for lunch today and it was delicious. We ordered the mini pack and the portion was huge! $10 for the pack which was a good price for the amount of food and the service was excellent. We dined in and it was nice and cool in the aircon. Would recommend highly
Really appreciates the wonderful customer service, the chips were lovely and hot the batter on the potato scallop and battered fish were abit chewy but i will be returning as the chips and service was fantastic.
food is overly battered, probably the worst fish and chips i’ve had. seafood stick was okay. gravy was good. listen to the other bad reviews
