Angus & Coote Bathurst

I bought my wedding jewellery from Angus & Coote — a beautiful matching necklace and earrings set — and I’m so glad I did! I originally planned to wear some pre-owned jewellery, but a few days before the wedding I realised it wasn’t quite perfect. I decided to pop into the store to see what they had, and it was the best decision. Fiona was incredibly helpful and showed me several options that suited exactly what I was after. Little did I know my engagement and wedding rings were also from Angus & Coote, and there happened to be a matching set that tied everything together perfectly. The quality is excellent, the pieces are stunning, and the prices were very reasonable. I absolutely love my jewellery and hope to pass it down through generations one day. My wife and I brought a cross in for a quote to rhodium plating it, and was told by the staff at the time that it would take no longer then two weeks yet wrote two to 3 weeks on the receipt. When I asked for the cross back on Monday they told me that they can't because there jeweller only comes once a week, I found them to have poor listening skills and are deceitful.

Shennae assisted me in purchasing a rose gold wedding band almost 2 years ago. I’m still very much in love with it, and it has held its integrity well. Shennae was helpful when discussing what I was after and was able to provide some guidance when I was having difficulties with my engagement ring from another jeweller (now closed down) in Bathurst. Professional and lovely ladies work there 🙂

i’ve gotten a few rings from here, still in great condition 3 years later. the staff was lovely and helpful.

My mother had an absolutely abhorrent interaction with the Bathurst store manager earlier this week. We took in a gold chain due to it cutting my mother's neck as there was a fault in the design, it had two sections with razor sharp edges. We where met with rudeness, eye rolls and the manager insisting it was not able to be returned or exchanged. Even with the receipt being under the three month policy we had to argue with her to even have it sent for repair. Under consumer law we are entitled to an exchange or refund for a faulty item. The manager in this store needs to be reprimanded for her disgusting behaviour and attempt to shame my mother infront of the entire store quite loudly. We are now awaiting a response from the repair team. Never again will be spend money in this store.

Went in to buy a gift and Sonja? I think her names was. She was indifferent and made the whole experience unpleasant, I felt like I was inconveniencing her. I feel like taking the item back and going else where but I probably won’t get a refund just store credit. I regret purchasing from the store or at least should of got someone else.

My experience with Sonia was exceptional. She was able to guide me in selecting the perfect jewellery! Very accommodating throughout, I can’t thank her enough. 10/10 experience.
