Prouds the Jewellers Bendigo

The lady i was served with was not great. to backstory this, i purchased a almost $500 necklace (chain an pendant separate purchases that come into 1) anyway, the chain (the white gold chain) snapped! TWICE! under normal safe wear, this necklace meant a lot to me so i brang it into prouds an they refused to replace or refund it even tho i did have a receipt. I told them that there is an ACL (australian consumer law) that covers this purchase classed under major damage for what it’s worth, and they refused to abide by that. So no i would not recommend Prouds at all, the workers were not helpful or nice people as they were very rude aswell. if i had the option to give 0 stars i would, DO NOT SHOP HERE. After i had laid out my purchase on the table to show them the breaks the lady picked it up and held onto it for dear life and it was almost like i wasn’t going to get it back! I had to ask the lady to give it back to me so i could leave cause it’s still mine! $500 WASTED. Prouds, i really thought you were better then this, you should be ashamed. Make sure you always read the reviews before shopping somewhere because i wish that i did.

I have not many words for this shop, customer service is simply poor. And the products being sold are simply crap. Bought a gold necklace came home only to find out the product was broken. I personally didn’t notice at the shop because I trusted the sales people but they clearly don’t look and care about what is being handed over. Return is not accepted, and happy with a new product or a gift card is simply not what I want I will never ever buy from prouds again.

I would not recommend buying anything from Prouds. I bought a watch on the 23rd December from the Kangaroo Flat store. It was worn twice and then fell apart while it was sitting on my dresser! I returned it to the Market place store and they refuse to replace the watch and say it wasn't covered under warranty!

Possibly the worst customer service. We went in to look to buy wedding bands. Rudely asked for drivers licence The price of what we wanted to order in was rudely described by older lady as "as least double the price" multiple times without the discussion of what were were getting for the price no attempt to sell us anything in fact put us off everything altogether. implied that we wouldn’t want it or was out of reach. We went around the corner to another jeweller and purchased from there instead.

Purchased a pendant for my wife, the clasp broke, they wont repair or replace it, told me to call head office if i didnt like it, no warranty, $400 wasted, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM
