We visited Michael Hill on 09 September 2025 between 2:50–3:00 PM to look at watches. On both visits, the same Asian lady showed clear disinterest in helping us and made us feel unwelcome, possibly due to prejudice. Despite this, we purchased a watch, but she did not provide a warranty card, manual, or proper assistance. When asked, she dismissively said we would know how to open it. Thankfully, another staff member later helped us properly and provided good customer service. Never coming back there if i saw her there
Elyce at Michael Hill was absolutely amazing to deal with. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely excited to help me find the perfect 10ct gold hoops. Her service felt effortless but super professional — she really knows her stuff and made the whole experience feel special. I walked out not just happy with my earrings, but really impressed with the level of care she gave. Would definitely go back to her again.
3 staff to 1 customer while we were there, wasn’t interested in us despite them not realising we’ve spent about 15 k in the last 10 years. One was chewing with her mouth open while talking to us, and we were close to spending on something we really wanted when we decided to go elsewhere. Service has gone very downhill
very unsatisfactory service. I did buy multiple items from them. The assistant manager Elyce of this store was very unfriendly and judgemental. She was rude and unwelcoming. They should hire people with more experience in customer service.
Worst customer service experience ever. The older lady working there is extremely unprofessional—she doesn’t care about customers at all. I went in and she was too busy watching something instead of helping. This is the second time I’ve had the same experience with her. Very disappointing and frustrating.
Jan was absolutely fantastic. Despite knowing I probably wouldn't be making a purchase she went out of her way to answer all of my questions and give me heaps of good advice. Excellent customer service.
