Snog The Frog

The ladies at Snog the Frog were fantastic. They spent over an hour with us helping my husband and I to find the perfect costumes for a big party. There were a lot of options and it was a great experience.

I have been so well supported throughout my entire experience of hiring an amazing broccoli costume from Snog the Frog which I wore in the 48th Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade while marching with the LGBTQI+ Vegans Float. The lovely staff at the store provided useful information which helped me to decide on a costume hire option. They listened to my ideas and helped me to find a perfect costume which carried the theme of the float super well. I received a complimentary bag without it would have been impossible to transport the costume. The costume was an absolute crowd pleaser. The process of hire and return was easy and accommodating. I can't wait for the next opportunity to hire fancy dress from this treasure box.

I always make my way to Snog The Frog ahead of office Christmas parties, Halloween and any other event that calls for fancy dress. The website has lots of costume ideas that help with idea generation, but it's the people in the store that make it such a fun experience... brilliant pop culture knowledge combined with a genuine enthusiasm for whatever outfit vision you bring them. Highly recommended.

I went here a while back but recently recommended the place to a friend who was in need of a costume. I couldn’t recommend this store enough, as someone who is a bit chubbier I often feel disregarded or as if I cannot be helped when I try to hire/buy costumes. The team here went above and beyond to help me with my costume. It didn’t fit properly on my waist and they said no problem, wait 15 minutes and we will add a corset in the back, they did so and the costume fit and I was very happy. They also added extra accessories that were not originally included so that my costume would look better. Staff also make the experience feel fun, they helped me and my boyfriend dress up in a few different costumes for my theme. Overall 100/10 couldn’t recommend enough.

I had such a great experience with Snog the Frog! Laura and Melanie were absolute legends — they posted the costume from Sydney to Melbourne in no time, and it arrived in impeccable condition. The costume itself was clean, well-made, and got me loads of compliments on the day. The whole process was smooth, friendly, and stress-free. You can tell the team really care about what they do. Highly recommend Snog the Frog for anyone looking for quality costumes and genuinely lovely service.

We had a country Christmas party with a 1920s theme, and my wife found the most amazing 1920s dress that she honestly wanted to keep – it was that good. Melanie also transformed me into a wonderfully Chaplinesque character, which set the tone for the whole day. To top it off, I even got a few new songs for my playlist. Loved this place! It makes you want to organise a costume party just for the joy of going back and trying on more unique outfits. We had a themed gala dinner and honestly had no clear idea of what to wear. When we arrived, the person in charge asked a few questions about the theme, then disappeared into what seems like endless rooms filled with costumes for every possible occasion. She came back with several options — and one of them was the perfect match. She even helped us choose the accessories, and the final outfit was spot on. The whole experience was super fun and incredibly smooth. I definitely recommend this place!
